Holy shit, AoJ's and Thin Crust's posts read like something from the comment section on ign or gamespot. Yes I'll admit I have had little use for Linux on the PS3 when I had it but it doesn't change the fact that Sony is willing to take away certain features from something I bought as a whole. I doubt more will be taken away and heck they've added a few other things that don't cost me money, but now these days when it comes to certain products, you don't "officially" own them it seems.

Noticed the demo was a new release on the PSN yesterday and going by what little I've heard of it I gave it a try. I was rather impressed with how fast-paced it is as well as how it reminded me a lot of Casshern; or at least in style as I sure as hell couldn't chop my targets in half Hell I actually did not feel as overly invulnerable which is a strange feeling; very arcade-ish. I will say though that the shotgun in it is one of the few in-game ones that actually felt satisfying to use imo. I however did have a Fist of the North Star moment though when I tried the barefisted melee... Look at 3:27 in the first link to see what I mean.

I'm interested to see where it's going.

It was not about the console wars during the mid 90's to mid 2000s. It was just bad timing all around. Think of it as releasing a movie in between after a release of a hugely successful film and another film that is coming around the corner that is expected to also be a huge deal. ~ Super Metroid Article on Wikipedia Metroid: Other M is seemingly looking to repeat history once again. Whether that would be the game is actually very good or initially flop remains to be seen as of this post. Edit* This is good to hear~!

Some of us are pretty old, I remember being estatic being able to choose between duck hunt and SMB way back; hell the zapper I have stowed in the closet is fucking GREY, way before they decided to make it an obnoxious orange. That said I remember picking up Super Metroid around May of '94 then Donkey Kong Country around December of '94. DKC was a bigger deal compared to SM as I remembered. Nonetheless I loved them both. What Toadofsky is saying is that Metroid: Other M is being released at possibly the worse time possible. It's being shuffled out asap so they can focus on DKC:R among other things. The same thing happened to Super Metroid way back in the late summer of '94. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Even including its iteration in ? Then again MMX5's "Shadow Devil" still manage to piss some people off, including me.

Well holy shit... If I'm seeing this right... I'm seeing characters from both, the classic series and X series. Dr.Light, Megaman, Roll, Protoman, Dr. Wily, Bass, but then I'd see Iris and her bro Colonel?! Hell the Yellow Devil actually looks intimidating this time around. Are they trying to bridge the gap between the classic series and X series?! At the 0:32 mark it looked like X was trying to drag Megaman somewhere. Even the robot masters we've known before comeback in their original iterations. What?! I will say I'm rather torn on the fact that it's for an MMO...
