  2. Hi, may be this remix of Donkey Kong Country 2 called "Boreal Forest" could sweet to OC taste ;p? link : original comments : date : 03-01-2006 by : Cyborg Jeff (Pierre Martin) album/project/game : Just a Smile info : trance remix of Donkey Kong Country 2 song original comments : Well.. there are more than One year that i've made and posted remix of video games.. not that i don't want to do.. but i've switched from my old Impulse Tracker (running under MS Dos) to Buzz Tracker.. so i need time to learn and try ;p In few days i'll launch my new album "Just a smile" and i decided to realise a video game mix to include in it. So i've choose the forest theme of Donkey Kong Country 2 that i've heard in some other remix this year, and that have an intersting melody. so here is.. concept of the album is turning under theme of "Miss Eskimo" and her "Sound Palette"... so that's why it called Boreal Forest,.. and sounds like this ;p so.. if u like this remix.. may be u'll like my forcoming album .. then stay tuned on http://cyborgjeff.untergrund.net in few days.. cyborgjeff http://www.cyborgjeff.com MARTIN Pierre designer multimédia ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://snesmusic.org/v2/download.php?spcNow=dkq - "Forest Interlude" (dkq-10.spc) I'm a fan of the source tune on account of Protricity's "Forest Birdcussion", the legendary track with the goofy name. Played this way back on VGF76, and this is a decidedly different approach, which is good to hear. The arrangement itself was pretty conservative, but IMO personalized enough in the delivery where the end result is a safe pass. I liked the integration of the SNES SFX from the original. Nice opening. Melody came in at :21 with a relatively spartan woodwind sample. I thought the drumwork was pretty bland, and the string accents starting around :44 were way too soft to really benefit the song (again around 2:10). The energy level was good, and I liked the various dynamic shifts throughout, but the production could be tweaked to get more out of it. Moved to some bland electrosynths at 1:41; everything's feeling too bread-and-butter on the production side and needs some meat on it. Right now, the overall blandness of the sounds undermined the strength of the arrangement. If the arrangement were more interpretive, the production would have been less of an issue for me, but by 2:47's section I felt like I'd heard most of the arrangement ideas and that the track was retreading. Some more interpretive variations on the source melody from verse to verse would be good to keep things fresh. The fadeout at 4:00 abruptly cut out before the fade was finished; fix it up. I like what you've done so far, Pierre. This is a good base that could use an extra push to get it on solid ground. Definitely don't be discouraged about it. I'd sincerely like to see you resubmit this mix and get it posted on the front page. NO (refine/resubmit)
  3. Contact info : - ReMixer Name : SideCut - Email Adress : voltz@bluemail.ch Remix Info : - Final Fantasy - Prelude theme - So here we go with the second one, also made in 2001. It's a remix of the prelude theme present in many FF episodes in a trance version. Maybe more known than the Star Wars theme, so I dont' have much to comment. Just that of the more than hundred songs I composed, it is one of my five favourite ; the only thing I have to say is : 3: 18 "and now, a very important moment Boris, the break Boris, the break !" If I can make a polite specific request, I'd wish it to be judged by persons who like trance style, so they can understand the language. I personnaly appreciate a few different styles, but for exemple, I don't think I'd be up to the job to judge a death metal song, as it doesn't evocate anything inside me, therefore, I couldn't say if the arrangement for that kind of style is good or not... Thanks.
  4. LT EDIT (2/19): Majin mentioned that he toned down the instrumental volume a bit due to some clipping. If you DLed the song beforehand, please redownload it from the same link. This remix only took 3 weeks to make, but it took me a year to find a vocalist to fit the part, and I want to thank a few people, rexy, she sang in the early versions of this. Thank you for helping me out. I would also like to thank, Taucer and Prizm. You guys are amazing guitarist, sorry I didn’t use either one of your parts, but it did give me ideas, so I ended up doing the guitar myself. Now to everyone listening, if you hear some of the instruments slightly out of sync, I played every part in real time, nothing was draw in, or programmed. The reason for this, is to keep a some what live feel, plus I don’t like to quantize. Dragon Avenger’s vocal talent is all over this mix, so don’t forget to drop her a line. I hope everyone will enjoy my last remix. <== Original ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for linking to the original. Encoding's too high, so just remember to stop at the 192kbps bitrate ceiling. Lunar Silver Star Story Complete Music Soundtrack - (23) "Luna's Boat Song" The e-piano sounded a little cheesy, but was a nice change compared to the original. I liked the arrangement in that (outside of the vocals) it retained the basic framework of the original but got pretty interpretive and personalized with the instrumentation. I liked the levels on the guitar work here. Loud enough that it accented the rest of the music, but quiet enough so that the guitar doesn't dominate the soundfield and clash with the lighter feel of the rest of the instruments and DragonAvenger's vocals. Nice work. DA's vocals sounded too dry, and there's not enough done on the production side to mesh the vocals into the music and compensate for her lack of strength. Right off the bat, the delivery wasn't that hot, IMO. Not to slight or insult DA here, but the nasally delivery of the vocals wasn't good when it was so exposed like that. I think it's like djpreztel alluded to in the writeup of the Final Fantasy 10 mix "Summoner's Love", the voice can be hit or miss depending on the setting. Perhaps layer the vocals on occasion or delay them slightly longer to flesh them out a bit more. Some tweaks with the production/effects to make the vocals sit better in the song would make this smooth sailing. The vocals are alright in some places, rougher in others. For me, the weaker parts of the performance coupled with the dry mixing dragged down the overall presentation for me, but I may be in the minority. I'd go conditional YES, but the production treatment of the vocals may need something more delicate than a tiny tweak. Pretty good so far, bro and sis; good luck with the rest of the vote. NO (borderline/resubmit)
  5. I'm calling this remix "Akai Hitomi" (Japanese for 'red eyes'), and it is based off the temple music for Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. (It's called 'red eyes' because it's made about Dark Link, who has red eyes in the game...) Oh, and this is my first submission, so be kind! ^^ More info: Username: raiyneofgailin Email: zelda_lullaby@yahoo.com Let me know if you need any other information, Raiyne ------------------------------------------------------------------ http://www.zophar.net/nsf/zelda2.zip - Track 8 *Piano sequencing was VERY rigid and repetitive; bassline wasn't nearly audible enough to contribute anything of note *Drumwork was alright, but the pattern quickly became too repetitive; don't ride cruise control with a loop, vary the writing up or it becomes boring *Vocals at :50 were simple but fine on the performance side, though the recording is unfortunately really crappy; can hear tons of artifacts whenever the vocals come in *Stuff at 2:17-2:26 referencing another part of the source didn't even seem in the right key *Strings brought in at 2:19 were way too loud and started drowning everything else out alongside the vox *Arrangement was somewhat interpretive, but directionless overall A decent base, but very unfocused on the arrangement side and way too rough on the production side. NO
  6. Little rough, but funky, no? - LT Hey OCR! The name's Moo2u. First off, I'd like to say I'm a big fan of the site. I've been lurking all over the boards, downloaded every track I can get my grubby mitts on, and enjoyed Pixietricks and Zircon's ramblings in bad accents for a while now, so it's really exciting to finally get to submit something! The track I'm submitting is performed by myself on keys, and my fellow band mates as The Tallest Band on Earth. We started our little funk group last summer, and finally got around to try our hand at some recording. Right from the get go (me being the VG music fan of the group) I wanted to do at least one video game track, and the oft overlooked Toejam & Earl came straight to mind. How could a game based around funk saving the day be so ignored! Anyway... What I hoped to accomplished with this track is to have it structured, yet have it open enough for lots improvisation (which is what we love to do.) Very relaxed, funky and free. Essentially, I wanted to keep the jam in Toejam, ya dig? Ok, enough of that, let's get down to the facts! Contact info... Name of game: Toejam & Earl Comments: Other than what I said above, we just like to have fun. Our sound is based off of a lot of the greats including Parliment, Tower of Power, earily Chili Peppers, and of course the late great James Brown. I hope yall enjoy it! - Moo2u ------------------------------------------------------------------------ http://project2612.org/download.php?id=82 - "ToeJam Jammin'" The performance is pretty decent, though there are some instances where it feels like y'all aren't quite playing together. Bass joining in at :12 sounds off, and shortly after, the brass is also off. Not sure why there's delay on the whole thing. Lots o' bass in here for some good meat in the background, though more high-end presence would have been good. Right now, it sounds a bit lossy. The melodic portion of the song seems too low compared to the supporting instrumentation, and the background ironically feels a bit empty, undermining a lot of the energy here. Around 2:29 seemed sloppy. The freestyling afterward sounded pretty decent, but again, it seems like the lead parts aren't cutting through like they should. 3:09 = ouch. Crappy segue with that squeaky brass, but the next section from 3:11-3:30 was alright. Ending wasn't strong, as the timing from 3:49-on seemed just slightly sluggish. With a tighter collective performance and better attention to the sound balance, this would be killer, but right now my gut says it's tiptoeing on the line. When in doubt, my gut goes NO (borderline). I like the arrangement, but the corresponding polish isn't there. Could snag some YESs though, so best of luck on the rest of the vote.

You know, "nothing left to prove", so-to-speak. I'm definitely glad Sebastian chose not to be a one-hit wonder around here. This one's got plenty of the yummy chiptune-style spices that I know and love, plus it's tackling FF5, which normally gets no love?!? Awesome cameos of the "Dark World" theme, meshing very nicely with "Ahead on Our Way". The interpretation of "Ahead" at 1:52 was sweeeeet. Wish you didn't repeat :19's section so closely at 3:20, but it's a minor criticism given how dynamic and evolving the remainder of the arrangement was. Bro, you got some awesome arrangement ideas, and the production skills to really present your ideas effectively. You've already got the YES.
  9. Enough personalization creativity for a first sub that we should give it some feedback - LT Hi, this is my first submission! Read the forum but could not find any particular info about how to name the mp3-file itself. now its called "oscarbrinstar" or something... Please contact me if this is an issue. /Oscar, "Orro" Remix name: Brinstar funky shuffle remixer name: Orro e-mail: metarn83@hotmail.com / oscar.sjoberg@student.kmh.se real name: Oscar Sjöberg Game: Metroid (8-bit) Track: Brinstar ------------------------------------------------------------ LIGHTNING ROUND *Arrangement is creative (but only after 1:25), but also underdeveloped *Sound quality is pretty poor; sounds like a simplisitic MIDI + soundfonts job, making the performance sound very fake It's over before it started, bro. You need better sounds and production to deliver better, more realistic textures, plus you need to provide more interpretation than this. Aside from some rhythmic changes, there's less than a minute of interpretive rearrangement going on. Needs a lot more substance on that level as well. Not bad for a first sub, but a long way off. Stick around the community and learn more. NO
  10. Hi fellow remixers (and larry), Remixer name: Shraker Nops Link: (but just incase, I've attached it to this e-mail aswell) I've noticed that the music from the PC EDITION (S&K Collection) of S3&K hasn't been remixed yet. A few (like 4 or so) songs from the PC version are differnt. Yes. Icecap is one of them. I never heard the Icecap as it is known untill a long time after I played the game. PC Icecap link: (The PC edition was midi, so this is EXACTLY how it sounds.) I decided to combine the Icecap music from both versions; the pc, and the orginal. And the bridge between the SG version and the PC version is a little clip from F-zero. No idea why I though it in there, it just kinda fit. If you have any questions you need asking just email me at my personal email adress: (REMOVE THIS EMAIL ADRESS AFTER CUZ I DONT WAN'T SPAM) Oh, and I just want to give a shout out to ocremixfan for being such a great help in the fourms. - Shraker Nops PS. I hate the smell (and taste) of pretzels but I LOVE this site. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do reviewing the reviews and doing all that stuff. ------------------------------------------------ For the record, I make ReMixes in my head; they're amazingz. http://project2612.org/download.php?id=61 - IceCap Zone 1 http://www.teamartail.com/midi/sonic3/icecap_act1_pc.mid - IceCap Zone 1 The note movements are meant to sound smooth, but every instrument in the intro moves from note to note in exactly the same way, making things seem robotic. A really tacky and thin electric guitar synth arrived at 1:04 followed by some ultra flimsy beats at 1:12. Is this overly simplistic and repetitive groove really gonna get the job done? The F-Zero cameo had no purpose there as a transition point (scrap it), and the immediate shift into the syrupyness of the PC IceCap theme at 2:15 was merely jarring. At this point, thoughts about the arrangement are lost amidst the issue that the sequencing of the synth guitar is really rigid and the tone of the sample is ugly. The balance among the instruments needs massive work; stuff tends to clutter horribly when lots of sounds are going on at once. Too loud, too abrasive, too mechanical-sounding. Samples are too thin. Arrangement is too conservative. The arrangement approach is personalized with the sound choices, but not significantly interpretive. Oof. Everything's ultra-rough here, bro. Words of encouragement are gonna have to come from another source. You just need to learn more about production and develop arrangement ideas that are more creative. NO

  12. Heyhey NoppZ here. Submitting a new remix from Castlevania sotn. Hope you will enjoy it! take care // NoppZ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Demon Castle Dracula X: Nocturne in the Moonlight Original Game Soundtrack - (06) "Dracula's Castle" http://snesmusic.org/v2/download.php?spcNow=scv4 - "Bloody Tears" (scv4-19.spc) Will contact NoppZ on the production, but for now I'll comment on the arrangement. We've already got a cool dance mix of "Dracula's Castle" by AkumajoBelmont, "The Devil Inside (Italo Disco Mix)", and this is about the same level of interpretation for that section relatively speaking. Keeps things pretty straightforward with a nice Latin & dance-type flavor and a good groove. Transition at 1:36 was pretty jarring, and after the strings joined in at 1:51, I started wondering what the hell was up with the writing of the lead. It's... odd, but you get adjusted to it more. Subtle, ultra-liberal reference to "Bloody Tears" from 2:05-2:20 hidden in the background. Another instant transition at 2:19, this time referencing the 1:37 section of "Dracula's Castle". I was definitely liking the dynamics of the piece within the development of each respective section, offsetting some criticisms of how abrupt the shifts from section to section were. The end result is unorthodox, but not offsetting as to merit a NO on that level. Another insta-transition at 2:49 that eventually segued into an interesting arrangement of "Bloody Tears" that arrived at 3:10. I loved the supporting strings there, but they struggled badly to be heard. The synth section at 3:54 picked this one up a lot in terms of offering some new sounds, and helped lend energy to the final section. Absolutely loved it. The ending, however, at 4:38 was way too sudden and didn't resolve the track strongly at all, which was a huge letdown, at least from my POV. On the arrangement side, the direction seems REALLY scattershot on the first listen, but each section develops well in-and-of-itself, and they piece together well as one overarching musical idea. But man, this production hurts. It wasn't a big issue in "Hyrule Party Mix". It was an issue in "Curse Curse Revolution", but not enough to kill it off. Right now though, the treble is so blistering, the mixing so uneven, that I can only go conditional YES. TO felt you should increase the the bass and decrease the treble, and I definitely agreed. Need a remastered version or this shouldn't go up at all. EDIT (4/18): Philip got back to me with a newly mastered version that got rid of the production concerns I had. The treble's toned down so it isn't so sizzly and the bass is way phatter. Stuff like the strings are way more audible during the fuller parts as well. It's a lot easier to hear how everything works together, and the end result is a lot stronger. Thanks a lot for your patience, NoppZ. It was worth the wait, bro.
  13. This is Starblaze. Well, I'm actually just Evan now. Yeah, I think Evan will do just fine. I completed one of the few remixes I've actually attempted in the past few years about six months ago. Since then, my hard drive has crashed. I've reformatted, but I lost a lot of information. One of the things I lost was the FLP file associated with this song. While feedback is obviously still appreciated, there is little, if anything I can do if there are "acceptance-breaking" problems with my submission, which I imagine there will be. I'll be honest: I don't think this is amazing. I barely even think it's "good." It's the first piece of electronic music I have ever really completed (I am still more of an orchestra guy at heart), so there will be problems. You could probably argue that the drum line isn't various enough, or that my instrument choice is a little stale. I might even agree with any of those statements, so at least we will agree. In any event, this is a very simple, and yet somewhat complex, arrangement of various songs from F-Zero GX for the Gamecube. It is simple because it doesn't go crazy; I don't break any musical barriers, and stylistically, it's even somewhat generic. It's a bit complex because of the way the melody was composed; several songs were wrapped up and then "spit out" so to speak. Listen carefully and you can hear them all; "Infinite Blue," "Mute City," (which is more prominent; I wanted to make at least some of this a bit more obvious so that even if you can't hear what I'm trying to do, its 'arrangement' status is somewhat justified), and the victory music which escapes me in name at the moment. Fans of the game may recognize a few more goodies. If by some chance this remix is to be accepted, I would request that you change my name from "Starblaze" to "Evan Pattison." All other information is current and accurate. Thanks. Hopefully, I will become somewhat more active and begin producing more music.

Contact Info Your ReMixer name: Abadoss Your real name: Kenneth Edward Keyn Your email address: Abadoss@yahoo.com Your website: http://www.warnerpacific.edu/personal/kkeyn/index.htm Your userid (number, not name) on our forums: 2642 ReMix Info Name of game(s) ReMixed: The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time Name of individual song(s) ReMixed: Epona's Song Additional information: While taking a break from working on "Let it Rain", I came up with this piece. It's short, relatively simple, but sounds really nice. From what I could tell, the thing most people seemed to have a problem with, in the WIP forum, was just its length. However, to add any more would violate the length-content ratio, so it's the length it's going to be. Considering that was the only particularly major problem, I was given a lot of hope for its success. I came across the idea of arranging Epona's Song at work, actually. I was pretty bored one day and started fiddling with the melody a little (with improvised lyrics, of course) and came up with the nuances for it that are currently in the piece. Before starting, I had thought about actually using the lyrics I had come up with for it, but I liked it better without. The name, "Epona's Pastorale", is somewhat of a play on words (pasture/pastorale). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.zophar.net/usf/lozusf.rar - 28 "Lon Lon Ranch" (27 "Ocarina ~ Epona's Theme") The samples were a bit exposed and rigidly sequenced with the piano from :22-:39, but that was a minor snag. Even until :59, the samples were a bit too exposed, a bigger than usual drawback when going for such an intimate, purposefully sparse soundscape. Otherwise though, the arrangement was nothing short of excellent IMO, and the production was solid enough despite the samples sounding weak in spots. I loved the several emotive variations on the source tune. The changeup at 1:55 with the strings moving toward the close was beautiful stuff and a strong resolution. A brief mix but with excellent dynamics, it says a lot in a little time. Nice work, Kenneth. YES
  15. http://www.zophar.net/nsf/pinball.zip - Track 3 Pretty cool string intro. Once the melody kicked in at :15, the string movement and supporting piano both sounded a bit rigidly sequenced. When the beatwork took over at :32-1:03, the more "organic"-minded parts started getting obscured. The bell work sounded way too weak, but the writing was alright. The beatwork sounded pretty cheap and cookie cutter (and also too repetitive over time), and didn't mesh well with the other instrumentation at all. After a promising harp-like section starting at 1:20, those thin & exposed claps coming in at 1:35 simply sounded out of place as well. Nothing else to really point out aside from the ending being a serviceable resolution. Agreed with Vigilante, this is definitely a really cool concept and a great base of an arrangement. Frankly, I'm impressed at what you did with such a limited theme as well, Dillon. But the negatives of the flimsy samples, thin textures, rigid sequencing, and repetitive beatwork can't make up for a (merely) promising arrangement. if you devote a lot more time to enhancing your production techniques, developing more sophisticated support instrument writing, and creating more cohesive textures, you'd be well on the way to getting something passed in the future. 16. Quake 2 Soundtrack - 7 "Quad Machine", 2 "Operation Overlord", 3 "Rage", 4 "Kill Ratio" & 9 "Descent Into Cerberon" First off, I don't wanna take away from the coolness of a family playing as a band and on top of that playing some VG music. That's pretty badass, and I like what y'all are doing. Nonetheless, this arrangement is still a ways off from anything we'd accept. The arrangement is way too conservative and uninterpretive. The textures here are emptier and simpler than the originals. I can't even lie, it's hard to tell where one source track ends and another begins. But the arrangement basically just crams near-verbatim covers of all 5 source tunes within its 6:52 length. The multitracked performance could be tighter, but was certainly decent. There's just not much interpretation here. On top of that, the track tends to get boring after a while. Aside from some very minor changeups (e.g. 6:11, the ending), it's mostly the same instrument combinations going on at the same intensity for a long time without any major dynamic contrast to keep the song evolving and interesting. It needs more substance over the long haul than this. I'd look forward to something else from you guys, but I'd say keep the site's standards and guidelines more in mind. NO
  17. beatmania IIDX 7th style Original Soundtrack - (29) "traces" Sorry Fernando, I'm still liking the potential, but it's still not yet realized. Can't wait until your sound design matches the ambitiousness of your arrangements. With this overhaul, the track's unfortunately left feeling very empty in the background and overly loud in the front, moreso than the first submission, IMO. I voted with "refine/resubmit" meaning that there definitely didn't need to be an overhaul of the approach, but rather some tweaks to make it passable. The arrangement is still good, but the sounds still lack meat and depth despite all the changes. You need something to fill out the background more effectively, and your sounds still need to be toned down in volume as well as balanced more effectively against each other. Perhaps hound zircon for advice. NO (refine/resubmit)
  18. http://project2612.org/download.php?id=61 - Lava Reef Zone 1 & Lava Reef Zone 2 Drums are still too dry and bland, the piano is still rigidly sequenced, and the sax definitely has its moments where some lower notes sound off. It's just a matter of needing more practice, as the flow of the sax unfortunately still sounds rather unpolished. That's really the short of it. Liked the new bell-type instrumentation used at 3:06 to create more sonic variation. Piano at 3:35 sounds out of place when it abruptly showed up for the last couple of seconds sounding really bright yet mechanical. You can take it either good or bad, the arrangement is fairly strong. The live performance part just isn't up to snuff yet, IMO, in that it's too inconsistant, plus the finer details of the sequenced material need to be cleaned up for a more natural sound. I have to say though, Bobby, you've shown improvement with each resub. While I wouldn't recommend resubbing this one soon (otherwise you'll end up getting sick of the song), you show the potential to have a mix passed down the line as you continue to improve. Conceptually, your ideas are good, and the execution is gradually but markedly improving over time. Keep up the progress, but perhaps put this one on the shelf for now as you explore other arrangements. NO (refine/resubmit)
  19. The Legend of Zelda ~Takt of Wind~ Original Sound Tracks - 259 "Aryll's Theme" & 256 "Ending" The usage of both themes is pretty underdeveloped. Nice piano intro gradually moving into the vibe-type stuff and strings. Seemed aight for the first half before transitioning into some very ugly brass and piano performance work at :48 moving into the slightly different "Ending" theme (not the "Staff Credits" theme). Once things picked up, the sequencing was exposed as really rigid and the brass and bass had no meat on 'em. Accordian at 1:07 sounds really bright compared to the roomy piano resulting in a huge quality disparity. They should at least be produced so that they sound like they're in the same room. So yeah, definitely an inconsistant track in terms of the sample quality, plus the arrangement is really underdeveloped. Some arrangements can pull off under 2 minutes, and this isn't one of 'em. Good base, and you certainly show potential, but this isn't close to the bar yet. NO
  20. We had two of these 2 or 3 months ago, both here and at VGMix. Russ is seemingly the ONLY one who gets these threads. Everyone else just get mentioned in the broader "Whatever happened to...?" threads.
  21. Wanted to chime in on this locked gold, because non one actually responsible for evalutaing music has commented. Just because a song ALSO has an arrangement done by a J-Pop singer on the official/original soundtrack DOESN'T mean that that track is invalid for arrangement. Any track originally created for use in a video game is eligible material for arrangement at OCR. By extension a rearrangement of a previous arrangement of material originally written for a game is also fine. If someone wanted to base an arrangement off of Rikku's "1000 Words", that's perfectly fine, because the material that track is based off of is music created for a game. (example: http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01164/ - based off of The Black Mages arrangement of "J-E-N-O-V-A"). This rule also allows someone to arrange a previously made ReMix. While Thin Crust's example of "Melodies of Life" and "Eyes on Me" were wrong, he inadvertantly raises some valid questions. The Doom series and GoldenEye 007 have some tracks that were based off mainstream music, but we've decided not to remove already posted that arranged material like that, since those arrangements were made by the artists and taken by the site both in good faith, but we've been tighter on evaluating stuff like that since then. By panel consensus, BTW, Tetris has been allowed despite being traditional music. Overall though, when the situations aren't ambigious, we emphatically do not allow arrangements of music not originally created for a game, and that's stated as such in the Submissions Standards and Guidelines.
