*GASP* The day has come...

Doing a bit of catch up on Remixes, so I just recently came across this. I'm just blown away. The first time I heard it amid a batch of newly downloaded mixes, I just stopped working and sat and listened. It was just...mesmerizing. Thanks for sharing it with everyone! EDIT: Also, I concur in full with Dubanubiel above.

I'm really enjoying the album. Listening to "Majora's Wrath" makes me extremely uncomfortable. It's like I want to scream at the flute player. "Look up for God's sake! Can you not see it??" Then it occurred to me on my second listen that it sounds more like the flute player is the skull kid bringing the moon down with the music. It's been so long since I played the game, I can't remember exactly what happens. Regardless, awesome work!

Wow, another excellent album. I love the concept, and the music really delivers what I'd expect given the title. What I didn't expect was Mazedude's Saren remix. It was probably a minute into the track before I "got it". From there on I was just blown away. Bravo and thanks to all the artists! Oh, and kudos to Sixto for that cut of dialog from the original TMNT movie. That took me back some years.

I threw this into a playlist at work along with a bunch of newly downloaded remixes and hit play. It was a few days before I really caught on to this mix. It ended and jumped to the next track and I thought to myself, "what was that? That was sweet." I stopped what I was doing and really concentrated on the music. Wow, what a beautiful piece!

I love Stemage. Yes, I have a T-Shirt. EDIT: 2 weeks later and I still love it when this mix comes up in the playlist. Just experiencing this piece makes me think I won't be happy if I don't learn to play the guitar someday.

...Badass. The whole thing is just great. The build up to 1:10 is perfect, and once it kicks in I just have to close my eyes and soak it up. I can certainly hear the influence of the intro track for Relics of the Chozo, but honestly I think BGC has taken that to a whole new level.

This was totally unexpected and so much fun. I've been blaring the album through my headphones all day and this track always puts a smile on my face. I can't help but think back to fun times roleplaying in Neverwinter Nights with my sailor mercenary band. Flawless victory.

Mellow Mass Effect. I love it.

I've had this album on at work all week. It is simply beautiful. I don't want to mention any tracks as favorites because the entirety of the album is incredible. I started to do that, but I found myself writing out paragraph after paragraph of praise because I wanted to mention each track that I enjoyed. It quickly got out of hand. So I'll keep it simple. Thank you so much to each of the artists that spent their time and great effort to produce these amazing pieces. You've created something wonderful here, and it's a joy to experience. I've run into this problem often myself. Beating Deus Ex back in college left me wandering in search of something that could compare to that experience (I'm still looking BTW). The same thing happened when I plowed through HL2. Obviously having good friends makes up for most of it, but I've found that engaging my creativity helpes me fill that inevitable void that comes after having ended a fantastic experience. Nothing helps quench that thirst like plotting out a new storyline in my head, or writing up a concept for a new character design etc. That's what works for me. Of course, my talents in the visual arts are meager, and in the case of music they are non-existent; That just leaves me with writing. Granted, it often happens that whatever project I begin or pick back up eventually falls to the wayside following the release of my next obsession. Hmm, I'm not sure which I prefer: going back to working on a project because my new game is over, or dropping a project becuase a new came is released.

Well, since we seem to be talking about games we once owned but no longer, that does cut my list down a bit. I most regret selling my Genesis collection, to buy a Jaguar of all things. Yes, that was perhaps one of the biggest, dumbest mistakes of my lifetime...so far. Anyway, I miss them all, but the game I miss most would be Landstalker. *sigh*
