  1. Seriously, especially with Big the Cat. That was the lousiest, most unnecessary excuse for anything in a video game ever.
  2. 3. As much as I can try to deny, OCR is awesome. OCR is not going ANYWHERE.
  4. Right now @ my neighbor's house, her siblings are playing Kirby's Epic Yarn. The music is nice. The game is creative. However, if you were to compare it to the older Kirby games, the predecessors are better, inarguably. Even my neighbor agrees.
  5. Even though this thread was better for another section of the forums, your ideas are good, actually. Bring your concerns to Bundeslang.
  6. I love the energetic beat on this song. Also, I like how the sounds don't run into each other, directly. On the other hand, the melody doesn't seem to connect. Like, the progression repeats itself. Doesn't seem like the song is going anywhere. It's more like random notes thrown onto a progression (?) and a couple stiff changes. Make sure your changes go from subtle to drastic.
  7. Overall, I'll say that it was decent. For the most part, it had a nice feel to it. However, there were a couple arrangements that were iffy, notationally. As for the drum sequencing, that was excellent. Suggestion: give the song more of a progressive feel. I don't mean in notation, although that's nice, but rather, in arrangement. Make it seem like one thing causes another, if you know what I mean.
  8. It's obvious. Point is, ike anything else, you have your pros, your cons, and the extra. There's an honest critique, then someone flames it. Since chthonic attacked the credibility of the review, I posted Liontamer and Palpable's judgements, which were similar to that review. To attack one is to attack the other. It's cool, man. Deuces.
  9. Ok, I'll be honest: PROS: the song has a mellow, smooth feel to it. Some of the counter-melodies, which are in the original as well, do the listener a favor. @ 1:00, most of the sounds drop and the bass continues with softer hats with better dynamics. The bass is more solid, stable and reciprocated than everything else. CONS: I'm going to start with that cheap FL Studio standard clap. How do you go from atmospheric reggae to a conflicting jazz song with a poorly mixed hiphop clap in it? Also, speaking of conflict, it seems like the sounds don't blend together correctly. The original song, which I used to like, has an awkward melody. Since that is so, it is subject to an improvement in arrangement. Even in the beginning, the melody is kinda broken; needs a fix; an improvement. The song's arrangement is ok, but its transitions don't seem to have reciprocity; rather, it just jumps from one phase to another with added effects to make it tolerable. NEEDLESS GIRLY COMMENT: OMG I HAD ALWAYS WANTED TO REMIX DIS SONG OMG TIKAL'S SO PRETTY That's all.
  10. Personally, I am a big fan of wobble girl.
  11. Death Work Professional's Metal rendition of "Natural Born Killaz", originally by Dr. Dre and Ice Cube.
  12. Ladies and gentlemen: I AM GOING TO START A NEW VERSION AGAIN! THE FRUSTRATION!
  13. I think that "hyperdimension" implies that the women have extreme curvature.
  14. OH MY GOD, a Julie-Su signature? OH MY GOD, YOU ARE A REINCARNATION OF JESUS!

  15. Super Star was unspeakably great, especially (some of?) the adventure layouts, the music and the abilities. It may have had a couple of flaws, but... that's it. Sorry Darke, but: Unless an interrogation is not a pun.
  16. Funny, maybe the Nintendo/HAL personnel are changing, and their perception of effectiveness has changed as well. I assume that you're an adult, and so your expectations as a mature and previous Kirby player have heightened. Back in the day, people were more devout gamers. Nowadays, everything is commercialized and there are less devout gamers. That might explain why I was disappointed with Kirby 64, although they had a couple great ideas. Sadly, I guess that these majors have told themselves that they don't have to be 'that good'. Sucks, if you ask me. However if you have any knowledge or talent in game development, then perhaps the industry has a place for you, or you could make a place on your own, even. Triple meaning: Kirby has an edge/is hardcore/carries a weapon?
  17. I might be able to do OHC with a decent mouse! Otherwise, you guys have helped in pressuring me to be more skillful, musically.
  18. You're a great guy, Symbio.

  19. This might be helpful: once I had purchased a Seagate external hard drive once. It used one USB port for storage/data transfers + power; the other one was strictly for power. At first I used one plug, and that almost killed the external HD. Then I used both plugs, which powered the external HD, causing it to function better rather than minimally, but then, as it was coupled with many other USB port processes, it killed my external HD and my computer, which was a shitty eMachines. Get good brands for both PCs and external HDs, use both USB plugs so that you have no power conflicts, and don't run too many other devices at once.
  20. Oh, I see the relation.

  21. Make the vaginae cry, my friend. Yes, vaginae.

  22. Man... who cares? Receive the point and go about your life. Pit the prunes, be a man, or whatever you are. Have the last word, I'm outta here!
  23. THANK YOU! I left because I thought that no one would get it. Come to think of it, the guy who doesn't format his posts perfectly is the one who UNDERSTOOD.
