  1. -insert comment about crap and not being able to finish- .. just kidding I'll probably be done even though I've just gotten the intro down :/
  2. Finally got started! I'm-a delivering un-tss right in your face when I'm done :3
  3. I'm willing to bet that too. Also I'm willing to bet like 50% are cracked.
  4. Lost World Anthem is godlike! one of the best songs on the soundtrack! IGNORANCE IS NOT TOLERATED!
  5. Some really creative sound usage and processing here. A real dirty texture throughout the song that I fancy. The arrangement is pretty nice, maybe not one that take many unexpected turns and switching up a lot but still enough to make it an arrangement. Though personally I would've liked some chord change-ups during the first half of the song because it gets stale quickly, but I can live with it. The arpeggios are like gods gift to man and the section at halfway through is a nice break from what was becoming quite repetitive. Nice break into a more melodic section after that. Overall good mix that, while it gets repetitive easily, is creative enough in the sound department to sit good with me. Nice.
  6. I started remixing 'Battlefield' like a month ago :3 Maybe I'll eventually finish it. The point is, good soundtrack. Good but I didn't think it was amazing, at least not without the game.
  7. I can't agree more. Currently on Mission 7 (I think, the one with the mines) and it's bitch hard on normal sometimes. Then you come up with a tactic, learn to fly just a bit better or choose the right weapon and it's a breeze. This is really a game that's challenging and fun to master. Also, they added 6 new levels. They're all point or Time Trial missions and for these 6 they added leaderboards on XBL, something that was horribly absent from the game. but man, this game has this "just one more time" feeling even though the missions are like 30minutes each :3 and getting each medal is hard work, getting sub objectives is even harder. So worth my $24. So incredibly worth my $24.
  8. My dad has never played a game. Ever. I think I tried to force him to play some random kart game but he soon lost and never played again :/
  9. Wow, Johan stopped taking a fair ammount of dollar for it? I hope you're going to donate too but the brick is the gameboy most suitable for using with LSDJ. Gameboy color with prosound mod is the best option if you want a good monitor, reliability and good sound then. You can probably pick an old GBC from your friends for less than $10
  10. you're asking for much. remember, no one has cared for GB for a looong time, USB was NOT an option :/ I'm sorry to say this but there's no easy way out. if you find something on the wiki-site about what GBA software/hardware is compatible I say go with that. it's not as much hassle but it's not the real deal, though it doesn't seem to bother you that much. In that way I'm pretty sure you can use nanoloop too.. Are you gonna buy this software btw? you should. support the chipmusic scene and all
  11. how's prosound mod expensive? O.O you do it yourself! http://www.littlesounddj.com/lsd/prosound/ the thing with gb emulators is that they do not always support LSDJ and if they do emulation can be sketchy. also, if you're putting the thing on a GBA flashcart you can't use someone elses brick for recording.. old gameboys don't do the cha-cha with GBA carts You can back up your saves from a GB cart too, google it or check the wiki link. I hope you're used to trackers if you want something to just pick up and make music with :3
  12. Awesome, awesome to the max. (anyone who knows where that line's from gets a cookie) I've been playing the three first missions on Project Sylpheed btw, the controls are hard to get a hang on but now I'm starting to get it and enjoying it more. It's not an easy game on normal but for beginners there's always Easy Mode and the tutorials. The story isn't half bad so far! I'll be back with more Well, I'm not on Xbox Live a lot since my connection is messing with me and I haven't gotten a wireless adapter yet. :/ I'm so happy I finished the "Pacifist" achievement (survive a minute without shooting) so I assume I kick ass ;P Also, the 3 free XBLA games ain't free in Europe :/
  13. I've got two LSDJ cartridges, home flashed, from http://www.robwebb.clara.co.uk/shop/copiers/copiers.htm .. took a few tries to get the game on the cart and there are limitations (only one copy of the game per cart, not multiple as with some) but it's stable for me. I'm runing them on clasic brick gameboys and sometimes on my GBA SP for the backlit screen, but whenever I record I use the old bricks. My advice is that you DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE GAMEBOY MICRO :3 the classic gameboy (brick) has waaaay better sound, really. Or a modified Gameboy Color, prosound mod. Google it If you desperately want the backlit screen, sure, but make sure the cartridge you choose is compatible. Many GBA flash carts doesn't support .gb and some emulators (goomba for example) works, but not 100%, which makes it hard when it comes to sound. I recommend using GBA SP because it can play GB cartridges with will broaden your backup options and compatibility. Also you'll need a GB or GBC to use a dual-gameboy set-up with link cable, I'm pretty sure. This page is your friend in any case: http://wiki.littlesounddj.com/FrontPage good luck
  14. Looks sweet, $10 ain't much for a bullet hell when you think about it. SUPPORT THE ART DAMNIT. Now I really need to get that harddrive.. Got Project Sylpheed Today btw, I'll be back with impressions later. also.. Geometry Wars Retro Evolved scores plz :3
  15. I hope they "fixed" it for the european release :/ I love achievements :3 (haven't played the game too long..)
  16. I don't think anyone has ever been dissapointed by you Steffan. I'm not even trying to suck up, I'm serious!
  17. I'm glad my gut was right about Sylpheed and Lost Odyssey is placing itself on top of my to-buy list soon. How about Blue Dragon? I liked Dragon Quest VIII a lot, will I hate BD or like it? Eternal Sonata is genious, I love it to death so I ain't returning it Baleshadow. How much space do the free games take up? I haven't got a HDD yet as I mentioned so I only have a Memory Card (though it's 512MB)..
  18. Project Sylpheed is like $25 at my local store and I think I'll enjoy it. Get back to you when I've played it through I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed Lost Odyssey. I'm just hoping for a price drop in a couple of month because of the poor reviews.. we'll see. I'm looking for the Limited Edtition Mass Effect, I'm just that much of a whore, but I'm def getting it. The Orange Box is still major money but the price has started to drop in some places so I'm getting it when I get paid I guess. Also I need Shivering Isles. :3 Since I've yet to get a HDD (got the 360 Core for $160, that's why I bought it) but then I'm getting Rez HD, Super Puzzle Fighters and loads of other goodies. Games I've got already (mind you I got the 360 2 weeks ago): Oblivion (Collector's Edition) Viva Piñata (Limited Edition) BioShock (The metal case one, not with big daddy figure and whatnot) Burnout REvenge (Disc Only, got it for $3 from where I work) Eternal Sonata
