  1. Actually I totally agree. The sample music from 2K3 was AWESOME.
  2. Is there a forum category for suggestions for the website? ..if there ISN'T, I think it would be cool if there was like.. a 'random' option, where if you clicked it, it would just take you to any random remix on the site. It would be easier for me than having to go into all the remixes and checking out the ones I think 'might' sound cool.
  3. Agreed. That game was a trip and a half.
  4. I agree 100% on this one. I tried to get Live a Live forward in an older thread a long time ago but I don't think it picked up any support. However, I absolutely LOVE 'Fine Weather Today' (Caveman theme) and everytime I check the website I'm hoping someone decided to try to do something with it. ..but anyways, yeah, in general, Live a Live = awesome. I would love to see someone try to do a mix with any of the surrounding themes of the game.
  5. Haha, I love Toejam and Earl and I love how you jazzed it all up. Good job, man.
  6. Actually, I agree. That's a really good idea. I love the music from Harvest Moon on the Super Nintendo. I wouldn't mind listening to some jazzed-up tracks from there on my i-Pod. THINK OF HOW UNIQUE I WOULD BE.
  7. Well, it was only released on the Super Nintendo in Japan, but it's out on the net in emulation. Anyways. There are a few songs that I specifically like. I find that this game's genre had a very eerie and creepy feeling. In a good way though. I was able to find some midi files of the choices at http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/index-classic.html I'd have to say my favorites are: Ark - http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/SMAS-Ark.mid Battle Theme - http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/smasbattle.mid Load Saved Game (It's very cheerful) - http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/SMAS-LoadGame.mid Mysterious Happenings - http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/SMASMysterious-V1.1.mid and http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/SMAS-Mystery.mid
  8. Live-A-Live is a japanese released Super Nintendo game, however there are english copies of it out there on the internet for emulation, etc. 'Fine Weather Today' is a cheerful arrangement set for the Caveman Protagonist named Pogo. I've always checked the internet for different arrangements for the piece but it's quite difficult to find. The only sample I could get was at: http://gamesounds.holycrap.org/music/snes/midi/l/liveweat.mid It's not the best though.
  9. Yeah, that's what I thought, the game in itself seems to be so unheard of, I pretty much had to force my friend to download it to see what he thought. It's still pretty fun though, I love the boss music too, and Cube's whole adventure.
  10. Question though. Does anybody know if this game was ever released in North America? I don't remember ever hearing of it until I found an emulation of it.
  11. I'm not really sure if this site works on stuff like that. It seemed to me that it was made to just work on game music to show it can be a genre of its own and not just some mindless background music... but what do I know?
  12. I just love this site, haha. Especially how everyone is so interactive, lol. That's sweet.

  14. I have very little problem with this piece. The guitar sound is beautifully done, and to tell you the truth I like the minimal flute that is playn. It's not so much the minimal tune that the flute actually plays, but more the mood that it sets for the rest of the song. It's like you are actually in this secret fantasy world that the song plays for, and over-all it is a very well-done remix. It sounds like you've put quite a bit of effort into it.
  15. It's very well done. Not too heavy and not too light. It had some very likable characteristics that I haven't heard for a while. It's just a happy, funky song! Good-job.
  16. Really wasn't my thing. It wasn't bad.. but a little too abrupt for me. I had more difficulty finding the musical relevance to actual game's music than other Earthbound remixes that have been made and that was a bit of a set-back for me. Overall though, it wasn't bad, just not my taste.
  17. Is there a picture of what they may look like? I may have missed the link...
  18. It was extremely well done. I'm not usually a fan of this genre of music either, and I really like this version. The lyrics fit perfectly and have a very patriotic tone to them, which I also really like. The ending music-only area is where it also really peaked. Altogether this is an excellent OC Remix and I'm hoping you make more in the future with this type of style.
  19. It was pretty good, I thought. I mean, it's not my favorite OC Remix, but not many can put words into music like that, and it was quite well done. However.. I kind of felt that the actualy melody of the original piece was slightly neglected - sometimes I had to really listen for the similar notes of the melody because some other aspects of the remix were a little over-powering. Over all, however, it was great. Keep it up.
  20. Wow - that was amazing. I'm no fan of rap, but for some reason I really liked this one - but I suppose only those who have actually played Earthbound can truly apprieciate this piece of work. Nice job. Are there lyrics?
