Patience is a virtue I'm keeping eye on this project since everybody was dooming it to miserable failure (I was not much more confident than that) Timelines were pushed a thousand times... but I don't mind waiting, if it pays back in the end.

That's not nice, man! You post here, and I came all excited hoping for a new version... I'm disappointed! Just kidding! But anyway, a nice creation. I couldn't avoid thinking it had something to do to FF9. In fact, take a look on the 'You're not alone' song from it... it somewhat follows the same lines... why don't you remix it once you get the time? (I love it and no remix of this song is up to the original IMHO )

I like the tension feeling of the first part. You seem to be mixing a lot of ideas on it... can't imagine what will come out of it, but I bet will be great! Give us a song wip when you get one, will you?

That extra "high keyboard notes" break, maybe with different style, you could use some different sequences (not always left-then-right, etc). And don't forget about your bass and arrangement, and take all the time to perfect everything... the judges have no mercy, you can see how much they decline.

Good to see the progress. About the arrangement, it sems weel done, but it does not please my ears much... because of the distortion and some onther things around that I can't name, but that's just me, no rushing about that. Must say that I liked much the transition back to your main arrangement at 2:45 (it got a thrilling, excited feeling on it) Don't know if you got many arrangement ideas, but you could post what you got, some different mp3, so we can evaluate more at once. Keep it up! I'm liking very much where this is leading! =D

Nice update... your intro got better indeed, but needs better transition at 0:24, IMHO. Your bass is still pretty much unchanged in rythm for the entire song, it needs more variation, I guess. The overall soung sound better in quality terms, but I don't know how much is because I'm using my home phones, much better then the ones I use at work. Try some better samples to "improve the experience" of listening to the song, and try some arrangement ideas. Hope I can help you until you get this approved. Keep it up, dude!

I love this song since I first played this game on my old genesis! *nostalgic* I'm liking it, your arragement feels solid to me, but it sounds a little distorted/off the tune... is it intentional? I prefer cleaner songs, but even so this is amazing ! Keep it up! Edit: ei! juiz de fora? ha! não é toda hora que se acha isso por aqui!

The intro is really strange... feels like it doesn't fit. Still very raw about the sound quality, sampling and that sort of thing. I liked the melody introduction on 1:15, also (the key change?) on 2:47, and the rythm feels good. It was 2:47 onwards that I felt your mix more like what it needs to be, strong, with background elements, etc. Still need some arrangement, some personal touch, make it noticeable that it is a remix, not the source tune with dance beat on top of it. Sorry about my lack of knowledge... I'm trying to explain myself without knowing how. Don't give up on this! You are doing great!

I liked this, whoever the original song gets so faded in your mix... it was just around 0:50 that I recognized the tune, almost like a background. I love Lufia, and your mix is very nice, hope you perfect it and get approved. Keep it up!

I listen some of these songs now and then... but it's not like thinking "will Fighting of the Spirit rock? And Freeze? Mint? Arche? The Dream? The Cross?". I'm already very selective even with remixes of songs known to me, and with unknown ones I won't have any "emotive/nostalgic link" to it. But sometime soon I'll take my time to listen carefully the last 2 discs, hope you're right! Sadly I lost my pacience for lengthy playing... guess I'll not try ToS

I honestly don't know... just said what I feel, moreover I just listen, I can't analyse a dust about music. And I just listened to discs 1 and 2 (just played ToP)... yeah, I know, I'm absolutely missing awesome stuff from games I never played, my fault. Anyway, sorry for my empty criticism!

Came here to see what other people think about the album... must say I didn't expect this much downside critics. Unfortunately for me, the overall style doesn't appeal to me that much... even for songs with a more calm/sad nature (like Freeze and Mint), it seems like the emotion on the song is partially gone. Maybe it's just me... Someone also said about the absence of different styles... it seems to me the biggest flaw in the project. I like he project style, but most songs like that makes me tired. Guess could be more enjoyable if it wasn't so homogeneous, even if for some that is somehow conflicting with the idea of an album. But for sure it is well executed project, congratulations to those involved!

TOTALLY ROCKIN'!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! I'm listening to this mix since its earlier WIP versions, and it was already one of my favourite OCR mixes, and just now I discover that it got approved! Awesome job, OA! Congratulations!
