Nothing wrong with a simple House remix. 1:14 is the most interesting ^.^ - the bass drum gets a bit loud and seems to clash with the bass. Otherwise it's okay for an unfinished product

EDIT - Yeah, I worked pretty hard to E/Q it with my Soundsticks and Bluecats E/Q...probably not the most ideal software for the job, but I think it does the job. I spent probably 4 hours tweaking the fucking E/Q on Whipper Killer LOL. God E/Q can be so exhausting. I remember that one, loved it! Binary Verve hasn't suffered too much IMO - well I can sort of tell that there is a bit of muddying around the edges...using mah soundsticks, so I get the best sound out of a track...good ole Linear sound. BTW, Binary Verve would totally work in a videogame, just needs a loop point haha. On a random ADD tangent, for my Bad Ass Vol3 entry (bof2 deathevan), I probably spent close to 80 hours on getting the balance to sound...passable...because I had wayyy too many channels and too many multi-band-awful samples to work with. Fucking shit I swear to never get that ambitious again until I get better samples and a Solid-State HD. Prob a better job so I can afford this shit too.

Y'know what's effed tho? The waveform of my track on Compothausauce messed up the lower end of my entry, yet on SoundCloud it's fine. I can't speak for the rest of the sound quality in general, but I felt like it uploaded better than on Compo T_T

Comments: It's basically a very souped up sound upgrade and I repeated several sections to kinda lengthen it a bit. Also altered the octaves, added new instruments, kick ass drumwork and a very Obermein II bass. Actually the synth leads and pads are also Obermein II. Hope you guys enjoy it

Hi there 2r1t, figured I'd hop in and try to give you some feedback - hopefully it's helpful for you - take it all with a grain of salt and all that jazz... The sample quality could be more robust in my opinion and most of the lead instruments are too lout up to 1:19. Are those soundfonts? I'm thinking that 1:20 is where it gets better on almost all fronts - the dynamic flares are much better. The reverb on the piano is a cool touch. The strings and organs I think could use a sound upgrade. I like the re interpretive ideas, not sure if that'd jive with the big wigs at OCR, but there's always room for improvement if they have any feedbacks on that end. Overall, this is a very creative and interesting piece, it just needs to be executed a little better. Trust me, I know the struggle man, getting the right samples and the E/Q is always a challenge to master, but you'll definitely get there with practice and dedication Hope that was helpful.

Suuuuuuuper chill mm mmm. Thinking those claps need a touch of delay 'verb, cuz you're going for a more ambient mix - maybe some other percussive ambient flares that give it a water-y feel. Loving how it evolves and loving the production quality otherwise. The open hat that comes in at 5:00 is a clever touch too.

This is definitely smooth for life. Real tight 'n swag vocal work man. Very nice production too. "Got good taste for a girl" LOL - nice lyrical stuff thar

3rd edit. Should be better balanced and I laid off with some of the SFX used previously.
