I dunno, I think of geek as antisocial - being a part of OCR doesn't make you antisocial .

So if you can't take criticism, people are not allowed to point it out? That sounds incredibly unreasonable. I've had my newbie days around here too where I've made stupid posts, but I never went "OH QUIT YOUR BITCHING AT MY STUPIDITY". Plus I'm a moderator here now - from a moderator viewpoint, criticism is relevant to a thread too. If I did the very same thing, I'd have no right to complain about anyone calling out what I did and expect to be in the right.

Both kinda suck...but as someone who used to sing a lot, I was more inclined to buy Rock Band than GH3. Unfortunately, there're not nearly as many songs I enjoy singing in Rock Band as much as I'd like.

I'm locking this thread as it has degenerated into banal predictions for a game that is coming out in not even a month. Once the game is out, then someone can make a new thread on it, but until then, this is off limits. This is not GameFAQs. If you want to do that stuff, then go there. Otherwise, I'd advise lurking more. In addition, there has been some unnecessary flaming & language in here by some (looking the past two pages, FuriousFure & Atma) - I don't want to see that again, this will be the only warning on that subject.

They actually did perform a rickroll at MAGFest, in jamspace right after the Smash Bros. set...Kroze hasn't posted the video yet though (and the video of zircon & pixie singing in Rock Band too).

There's always the music, and as much as I've always maligned Unmod and the culture it fostered, it also gave me a toughness that has allowed me to deal with assholes who go out to fuck with people for their amusement. And in general, OCR has given me friends who share my love of vgm and with some, music in general.

We need more Illini in here.

So I have to know...who was it that performed Thriller at MAGFest? Was it Arm Cannon or Powerglove? (I forgot)

I got Rock Band two days ago, and I finished the main songs with the guitar on medium and with the mic on hard. Some of these songs really suck ass to sing through, but the good ones are, well damn fun. They really need a lot more of those in the game, though; hopefully they fix this with some good song packs.

Well, that blows. At least EGM/1up isn't as shitty as Gamespot like that. Not like those companies make any game I'd buy anyway.

Well...it would be hard coordinating such a large group of OCRs, which will probably be larger at M7. A good portion of us spent the nights drinking in different rooms each night (to avoid security) though, so if there was some incentive (*hint* *hint*), you'd probably be able to attract much of us.
