  1. That bothers me too... I'm afraid that after I've fought every trainer, there'll be no one left to battle and gain experience with EDIT: So, anyone up for some battles tonight?
  2. I'll enter the tourney! I'll need to update my pal pad but I'd love to fight!
  3. I still think it would be cool to have the Arwing in starfox pop out and float outside the screen.
  4. The team I'm building is Emboar, Lilligant, Golurk, Seismitoad, Hydreigon and Galvantula. I'm not a huge fan of Seismitoad, though. I might go for Jellicient instead, but there aren't a whole lot of good water pokemon this time around. Actually, a lot of pokemon can learn weird moves. Golurk can learn fly? wtf?
  5. Huh, that is weird. I was able to try it at Futureshop today, and I found the 3D effect to work really well. I got to play some Street Fighter, and in 'dynamic mode' (The pseudo 3d view) the 3D effect was really cool. It was very easy to judge depth and distance between fighters. The depth effect was really strong, the pop-out effect was very subtle and I had no problem with losing the image when you tilt the system. The 3D is very natural overall, though; you may not even notice it's on at first, it just feels so right. You don't even really think about it. I tried making a Mii of myself and my family members, and was a little disappointed... It didn't really look like me, but my dad's was kinda funny I also tried a DS game on it, and with 'increased' resolution, you can definitely see some blurring, but when you use native resolution (Start+Select on startup) the screens are so tiny. Try imagining a DS Micro and you'll have a good idea of the screen size. The System was much smaller than I expected, tbh, but I've gotten used to the DSiXL, sooo... Also, the slide pad is just, so, sexy. It feels so great! It's hard to imagine playing a handheld game without it now... I played it for about 5 or 10 minutes, even though I could have played for much longer. I decided I wanted to keep some things a surprise EDIT: Oh yeah, I also used the camera for a couple seconds. It works, but you kind of have to force your eyes to focus on different objects. It's weird.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hu1-kxX7GDQ Strangely, it actually sounds like something I would write So, anyone got some Snivys or Oshawotts they can part with? EDIT: waaah, I'm such a noob. I can't find the group. EDIT EDIT: nvm, I found it.
  7. hhhoooooooollllyyyyYYYY CCCCRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPP WAS THAT ENDING AMAZINGDSKFHGSADKFJHAKSJDFH!!!!!!!!! Seriously, though, that was just like one of the better movies!! If this is the route the pokemon games are taking, then I'm VERY excited! Of course, I've only got to the The End screen and have barely touched the Post Game content (Nice to see you again, Looker!) and the trainers are really strong! I'm looking forward to what I can discover next! This is probably the first time I'm going to go out and buy the other version just so I can play through the story again!
  8. Man, am I really one of the only ones who likes Samus' character development on Other M?
  9. Man, Dragon pokemon are soooooo cheap this time around... They spam Dragon Dance until they can wipe out any pokemon with Dragon Slash in one hit. The only way I could beat that gym was using Lilligant's Leach Seed and Sleep Powder and juggling my pokemon (Revive, get killed, switch, revive, etc...) until the dragon died. I don't think I've ever really used an ice or dragon pokemon in my team before...
  10. Wait, where do you get quick balls!? Those are like the best balls in the game! I've caught Level 45 pokemon by throwing those things as soon as the battle starts! I must have them!!!
  11. I hit it with magical leaf, sleep powder and caught it in the first ultra ball I threw
  12. Hey The Damned, this whole game should have been done through DLC, eh? :<
  13. So what's everyone's approximate level now? I'm in the low 30s and would love to battle someone tonight
  14. Haha, yeah, we need to do battle again! Maybe we could set up some tourneys sometime...
  15. Huh, I expected it to raise our levels to 50 :S Yeah, that was kind of an unfair match
  16. Let's aim for 8:30 according to: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/pacific-time/ How's that sound? I'll only bring in 4 of my PKMN to balance it out.
  17. Username: GameBrd (Tried for GameBird, but wouldn't fit ) Version: White Starter: Tepig FC: 2451 3938 8275 Happy to breed and share tepigs, but mine's a male, not sure how the breeding will work...
  18. One day to go... And I thiiiiiink I'm gonna actually go with Tepig.........
  19. I felt the game had a good challenge, just slightly easy bosses. i found Wind Waker just too easy. Actually, I think I found Minish Cap to be one of the hardest...
  20. I've always wanted to play Master Quest, but missed out on the GameCube disk... Hopefully they'll include it in OoT 3D or in the 25th anniversary.
  21. So true. The games are in Japanese anyways, so unless you can read it I don't know why you'd want to import... That said, Importing from another english speaking region makes sense, and I'm still considering importing Hotel Dusk 2.
  22. Haha, those are pretty funny. I'm still waiting to see more of Street Pass Quest and the battery life. I wish people wouldn't play they.re 3DSs so much and make some actual videos about the stuff we need to know! Two things that have bugged me that no-one's answered is if the buttons are 'clicky' like the DSi, and if the case is actual metal like the GameBoy Micro or if it's just plastic.
  23. I've never had a problem with any of the hinges of any of my Nintendo handhelds. Mine all still work perfectly. Maybe I just take better care of my stuff ANyways, yeah, We still don't have a solid answer on battery life.
