  1. I still enjoy this track a lot; though I don't play bass, I often tried to figure the source out on my brother's when I was younger. Almost got it too! Nice remix of the track; always been one of my favs from the R/B soundtrack, along with the Champion Battle theme.
  2. I'm bored, so I'm just reviewing songs. I've done 10 so far this morning, and I'll probably do more. EDIT: * Mirby has reviewed 16 mixes consecutively! Mirby performs Omnislash on Final OA!! Massive damage!!
  3. This song is what Microphone Kirby would sing to. Seriously. It's that great and fitting to the theme. :3
  4. This song... is awesome. Fantastic usage of the Boo's laugh, and a great mix that works as a good counterpoint to Palpable's "In Pieces" in terms of style. Nice work, you two! :3
  5. I'm surprised that all these songs work together as well as they do here. I think you're a veritable songsmith here; you've forged a great song out of several other great songs. What a wonderful job!
  6. I shall stab at OA's final form by reviewing HIS OWN WORK! BAHAHA! I see Crulex has already done the same. BRAVO! As for the review, this song has always been enjoyable to me. A nice mellow track that does portray the title quite well. This song, to me, fits the theme of "letting go" of something. Maybe it's one's past, or some regrets, or a lost lover. Whatever it may be, this song would work as backing for a scene of someone letting go of something. Nice work, OA! now if only this was the final blow. also, this will have no context once this month is over
  7. This is a remix? Sounds like a song from the 80s. XD Seriously, fantastic job and I think it was well worth the wait. Great job!
  8. As much as I love the FF9 Crystal World theme, it was always missing the backing that comes in after a short while in the Prelude (starting with FF4, if I'm not mistaken). And Kenogu was right in putting it back; this song is haunting, fitting for the final area of the game. Much love for this track! :3
  9. I enjoy this song a lot. It's a nice listen (there's really not many KH mixes on the site) and I like how she transitions between the English lyrics and the Japanese ones instead of sticking to one language.
  10. This is the birth of the now-requisite mega-collab, right? Seriously, so many people here. It's like the Expendables of remixes. A good song, nice arrangement of the source, by the way.
  11. The thing is that when Zelda sends Link back, it's not to the original timeline. It's to the third part of the split, the one that includes Majora's Mask. Consider this. TIMELINE 1: LTTP AND BEYOND Link, as a kid, places the Kokiri Emerald, Goron Ruby, and Zora Sapphire in the Temple of Time and pulls the Master Sword from its pedestal. This removes him from the current timeline. In this timeline, there is no Hero of Time to stop Ganon. As such, he gains the full Triforce and turns the Sacred Realm into the Dark World. This is the Imprisoning War of LttP's past. When another Hero arrives years later (during LttP) Ganon doesn't think much of it originally due to the fact that he's never faced a hero at all. TIMELINE 2: MM AND BEYOND Link does defeat Ganon as an adult, and Zelda sends him back to the time when he was a kid. However, the timeline he is sent back to is divergent from his original one (the original one leads to LttP). While Link goes to Termina, the sages go to seal Ganon away. These events are what are referenced by the Sages in TP (and where one of them is slain). TIMELINE 3: WW AND BEYOND Link remains an adult after defeating Ganon. However, when the time came for another hero, one did not appear. This leads to the flooding of Hyrule and ultimately Wind Waker's events. As for FSA, that is one that doesn't seem to really fit where they put it...
  12. The theory I've heard on other sites to explain the "Link fails" branch is basically this. The game starts on one timeline. When you pull the Master Sword from its pedestal, you are removed from that timeline (this is the "fails" timeline). When you awake 7 years later, you are now on a divergent timeline. If Link is sent to the past once more, it's not the same timeline as he was originally in. This one leads to MM and the others. If Link remains an adult after defeating Ganon (something that isn't really offered in-game) then the WW branch occurs. Since it's all based on the time-travel in OoT, we can easily blame any inconsistencies and anomalies on aftereffects of that. EDIT: This is the real timeline, btw.
  13. Damned, that's the one based on the Korean guy's one that I linked earlier. The one that's in doubt.
  14. Doesn't change the fact that the original source didn't use 'em. Also, I was unaware that there were partial timeline scans. Let us see how this turns out.
  15. Check the link you posted; there's an update that casts doubt upon this particular timeline. Now, I've been to the site that originally posted this model (the screwattack article links all the way back to Kotaku, which based it upon this site, same as mentioned above) and as you can see, there are no pictures of the scan to show as proof on the site. The only picture is that of the book's cover. My assumption is, providing this doesn't turn out true, someone used the hype surrounding the book and its possible timeline revelation to their advantage and are masquerading what they think it is as the real timeline. But only time will tell (no pun intended).
  16. Oh my... that's an awesome You're Not Alone... :3 It's on your list too! That means you want to finish it too! Also, I agree with your list completely.
  17. I thoroughly enjoy this album. Review shall be posted sometime in the future.
  18. That looks great! So glad it's finally coming out. XD
  19. Well that track is awesome! Also, when I do review things I try to do the ones with less than 10 reviews.
  20. Dangit! Another album I want to review but can't because I can't afford it. Oh well...
  21. Apologies for the double post, but we have a trailer! Jump Festa Trailer EDIT: For all you TWEWY-lovers...
  22. Wait a minute... it's Rodeo de Chocobo... Crazy Chocobo mentions a chocorodeo... D: CRAZY CHOCOBO REFERENCES THIS SONG!
