YAY! I inspired a thread. Also, I think to some extent it does. Look at all the people who have crafted their personalities based on various genres such as hip-hop and punk and emo. I think that those examples right there prove that music can determine one's identity. As for myself, since I listen to a little bit of everything, I like to think it does. After all, my identity can easily be described as "being myself at all times." Then again, with all the video game music and remixes thereof I listen to, "nerd" is also highly applicable.

Nice work there, Binjovi! As usual, and it seems like the OCADites like it as well.

The only two other people I know who've successfully made 8 minute remixes of single source tracks are Disco Dan (Blue Lightning) and bLiNd (that Trenches remix of which the name eludes me). And I know that Rozo can do something equally well. I can't wait to hear it, and everything else, and then review it.

Just thought I'd bring it up. The CitJP threads neglects to mention a track title one a LA track from April that's yet to be judged.

This game has some good music. Also, Axl's theme can only be described as stupid happy. Seriously, take a listen.

Lots of good games mentioned here... like Gex and Tomba! for instance. But one that I have to say is StarTropics. Only released in America (until Virtual Console, that is), it's a great game that people I talk to seldom have heard of. And StarTropics II is even better. The closest we get to any acknowledgement of the series at ALL is that Zoda's an F-Zero character. But what about Mike Jones? WHAT ABOUT HIM?!?

This is pretty awesome. I hope that an MM10 one is tackled after this; that had some awesome songs. If not, at least there's the Image Soundtrack.

Whenever I bug someone about tracks (I'm lookin' at you, Sixto and Willrock), I'm only messing with them. 99% of it is not serious (the other 1% is because I know they can make awesum muzak and I want to hear it), so if I do that please, don't take offense. In other news, still can't wait for this to wrap up. (also, just how heavily medicated were you when you wrote that massive post? )
