Pokémon: Forget Ultra Sun and Moon, Core Game for Switch Announced
Mirby replied to The Damned's topic in General Discussion
You know in my theory post I wasn't saying they left features and stuff, I meant places and storyline threads. Also that Strange Souvenir has yet to be explained. -
Pokémon: Forget Ultra Sun and Moon, Core Game for Switch Announced
Mirby replied to The Damned's topic in General Discussion
Well I'm assuming that it'll pull your currently active PC box from RBY into Pokémon Bank via the PokéTransporter, and if the PokéTransporter detects a Pokémon that might be illegal or hacked in some way it'll prevent that Pokémon from being uploaded. Likely if someone tries that it'll just be like THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS POKEMON SORRY CAN'T UPLOAD IT -
Pokémon: Forget Ultra Sun and Moon, Core Game for Switch Announced

I have a theory about this. There was an old interview with Masuda that came out shortly before ORAS. In it, he mentions that they're always looking to surprise people. Hence instead of Gray in Gen5, we got BW2. And instead of Z or XY2, he counts ORAS as those. Now here's what I think. Zygarde just got a bunch of new forms. Volcanion was announced recently, and is following Magearna. Not only that, but AZ's Floette still remains in game with its special move Light of Ruin unreleased. There's also those train tracks in Couriway Town that lead east and that weird totem that you can get in XY that remains, well, mysterious. What if Sun/Moon aren't Gen7? What if they're a new adventure in PokéGermany just east of Kalos (PokéFrance) that takes place at the same time, or a few years after, XY? Also, there were so few Pokémon introduced in Gen6 in comparison to literally every generation before it... what if we didn't get them all? I think that Sun/Moon continuing the storyline even further and expanding upon that part of the Pokémon world would be a great idea. And maybe, just maybe, after we finish the game we can return to Kalos from that region, paying tribute to G/S having Kanto fully explorable? It would be a great way to pay tribute to that feature that's quite celebrated from those games, and fitting for the 20th Anniversary games. I could be completely wrong, of course, but it could happen. I just think there's still so much left undone that was introduced in Gen6 for them to just move on to the next generation already. -
I'm excited for it, but it doesn't come out here in NA until April :\

Pokémon: Forget Ultra Sun and Moon, Core Game for Switch Announced

Wish they'd shown us the starters, but I wouldn't be surprised if Magearna is the first of these new Pokémon. Also there's two things I want from Sun/Moon: 1) A Dark/Bug Mosquito. 2) A Dark-type Gym. -

This Reddit post explains why this may or may not work in court if it ever got to this. -

In the original design sketches Nomura made for the Warring Triad in FF6, he gave them unofficial titles. Fiend's was Sefilos (meant to be Sephirot, as was used in this game). The enemy itself is meant to be a throwback to Fiend, and the phase 1 music is, as Yoshi-P's letter mentions, an (awesome) arrangement of Battle to the Death from FF6. Phase 2's song is what has caused this storm. -

I'd also like to point out how, in the article Brandon linked, Powerman 5000 frontman Spider One went on to say he was just observing that it was similar, and the internet has taken it to mean a declaration of war. Which he obviously never intended with the observation. He's 100% right with that. You're more willing to believe that Soken intentionally copied it and is lying about not being aware of the track than assuming the best of him and thinking he wasn't aware of it when he wrote the track. He might've subconsciously been thinking of it, but consciously he was not thinking of the track when he made it. You're bringing up lawsuits and courts and Spider One admitted he was just making an observation and is going to not comment online for a bit like he was doing before this song came out. Don't think it's gonna go that far. -

He said he wasn't aware of the track. Yes, they're similar, but they're not identical. -

A complete accident. Source -
Gilgamesh wields a weapon in each hand. Guitars are known as axes. Axes are weapons. Therefore Gilgamesh will be wielding a guitar in each of his 8 arms. Simple.
-
Oh my god. That is something I didn't even know I wanted for the BotBB remix. I'd suggest Tuberz as one of the arms since he's pretty good (and he obviously wants to be part of this at some point) but it's up to you. I mean he did make a rather dense FF5 remix on Cid. But yeah.
-
Fair enough. I'm sure Part 3 will be done in quite a timely fashion (and is probably already being worked on). A unified look would be nice too, or at least maybe an updated one?
-
This is great news! Now we can wait another 5 years for Part 3: Fire
-
Well not long after I started this album I became homeless and wasn't able to direct to my full ability. Not to mention folks kinda stopped working on their tracks, which didn't help. I'm pretty sure that issue is over and done with for the time being, so I want to get back to finishing this. Also djp wants it finished so yeah.
-
Yeah it's been an official project in the subforum. I'll get the tracklist back up and I'll see what we can do about finishing this. Also most of the people who were involved have commented or liked posts in this thread so I take that to mean they're still involved lol

I booted up some Zelda 1 on my 3DS to celebrate.

What I meant was town themes from more lesser-known games, as in the games themselves were obscure. So trying to stay away from like Final Fantasy town themes and gravitating towards other games with town themes (like Rogue Galaxy or Digimon World Dawn/Dusk or a bunch of others that I had in the old OP but removed cause videos are huge now) that weren't as well known. That was Darke's original plan for the album and I've done my best to stay true to it. And from the start, I've wanted a co-director to help me out with things. So I don't even need to give up the album entirely necessarily. Just need a bit of help in bringing it to completion.
-
I was perfectly fine with any town theme being picked. Hell, Tuberz was going to do a Twilight Town remix. I had a preference for more obscure tunes (that was part of Darke's original idea for this album after all) but any town theme was acceptable lol

OCRI-0001 - Audio Engineering: A Tribute to Cid
Mirby replied to djpretzel's topic in Album Reviews & Comments
Yes I am double posting but I like wishing my album a happy birthday/releaseday every year okay DON'T JUDGE ME -
Oh yeah I totally did. I TOTALLY JUST WOKE UP OKAY
-
Honestly I was thinking of shooting for OCRI anyways since it was never going to be a large album. I mean, I did direct the first OCRI album after all, I know how it works haha. But OCRA would be nice too lol And I did say someone with experience, which you more than qualify for Brandon so if you want to help out with the coordinating I'd be rather grateful

Apparently there are some who want this album to continue. I may not be able to continue as full director, so is there anyone who'd like to take the reins?
