HEEEY GUYS I was just wondering that if you guys had no problem with it, I wanna take out the part at 2:30. Yes I know this will cut 30 seconds out of the remix but it just seems like that part is weird...

... I don't know what to say. You just put random audio clips of guys rapping about god knows what over the original songs. It's not even in rhythm. Not exactly something I'd put in Workshop ReMixes, I'd put it in Workshop Originals/Other.

Jeez I thought I was being an idiot and was ignoring good criticisms... but this guy, his remix set aside, is just pure stupid. I hope I never turn into this (comment removed by author because I don't feel like even saying it). He should be taking your advice, not saying "Well I don't feel like changing that because I like it" when it's about a bad quality sound or something or saying "This is a bad community because it talks about what's wrong rather than what's right". Well Mr James the Composer two wrongs don't make a right... and neither do a million. No matter what's good about your remix if there is something wrong with it it WILL bring the whole thing down... So stop making rights and fix your wrongs. Even better: DO BOTH. The reverb and delay are critical parts. :/ No choir is without reverb. My dulcimer needs delay and reverb to give it that string-y sound it has right now.

Ooooh okay like I did before on my Zelda mix. That didn't turn out so well. xP I'll give it a shot, though. More than half of what you said is stuff I already know. I did hear you on that panning idea, though. Shariq and Rig were the only people who answered my question. -.- I know about the mixer, how do you think I use Reverb and Delay?

But I dunno how to do what you're telling me to do and where to do it. :/

Still no reason to scrap it. Did I scrap "Megaman Zero 3- Halfway To Go!" when Snappleman (JUST ONE PERSON OUT OF A MILLION, hint hint to Tarnish) trashed my thread? No. I still have it. I didn't let Snappleman make me scrap it. Tarnish, those lyrics are fine... but you should fix the problems SkyWay told you about. There's objective and then there's subjective: Objective= Problems that no one needs an opinion on. Hard fast sticking to the rules, without a bias or opinion. Subjective= Problems that only some people believe. It's more of what people prefer. You should worry more about the objective problems (clashing bass, simply just a change of instruments from source) than the subjective (someone doesn't like it because your lyrics sound too much like a kid show intro). By the way, you shouldn't care if it sounds like an intro to a kid show. That's not entirely a bad thing, and I don't think it would get rejected just for cheesy lyrics.

Otherwise you end up like me, Tarnish. If Rozo doesn't like your mix, change it. If you don't feel like it, don't change it. Rozo is just one person, if someone like him doesn't like your mix there are bound to be people who do like it. Don't dub something a waste of time because one single person doesn't like it. I once was doing a remix and a member of this forum (banned) came in and said stuff like I ruined the source etc... did that stop me? ... well yeah, it actually did. But I learned that I made a huge mistake. Never quit working on something unless you honestly think it's a waste of time, not because someone doesn't like it/ receive it well.

How did this get toppled by those other WIP's?! :/ I'm stuck I'm not sure what to do next.

Aside from his Sky Sanctuary remix he actually doesn't want to change the originals around. He just wants to "revive" them by adding instruments, etc. But I completely agree with your points about Sky Sanctuary, it IS a bit repetitive.

Regardless, you shouldn't have to let those people discuss your song if you don't want to. If you want to host the file, you should go to a place where people are going to critique it (there's really no point anyways. You're not even there for the critique).

:/ That's kinda weird. It would be nicer if you could just host the file without having it rated by the host...
