  1. At 1:33 I can't help but break out "Raindrops on roses and wiskers on kittens!" GOOOOULET
  2. Contest entry conditions are too difficult, I won't do it. I have all the black mages, original soundtracks from FF tactics, VII, VIII, and X, and 142 FF remixes I commonly listen to, but this is just too much effort.
  3. O_o I feel like I've missed out on so much not having known about the cynic project. I feel like it was made just for me ... Thank you sir, I am whole.
  4. DJP, you make my day, half the fun is reading your write ups. Vurez, this is a great mix, totally different, I love it. The music video made me lol several times. If i could say more I would, great job - Imma gonna play some mario now
  5. Ahhhh my very favorite FF song! And from the artist that shares my last name no less! Keep up the good work long-lost brother!
  6. epic song. if I loved it any more I'd probably have to marry it because of all the bastard kids i'd have with it.
  7. I loled when I saw it was the music from the galaxy map. All of my roommates and I systematically beat mass effect and mass effect 2 all at the same time, so anywhere you went in our house you could here the damn galaxy map song over and over and over... Too bad this wasn't playing instead, I really dig it. The end of the intro at 1:08 is fantastic I love long build-ups, great work!
  8. I had hit play and went back to writing a paper and moments later I look up: "What the Nazgûl??" I had to double check what game this was from lol. I love the low repeating tone, like an intruder alarm. Makes me think of base under attack from Nazgûl
  9. I freakin' love the solo at 2:30. This is my favorite ice cap zone mix I don't care if there are a ton of em, I love em all. Great work!
  10. Heh, I thought the same thing. For the first couple seconds I was sure it was Wild Horses (kinda lost it when the piano came in though)
  11. I love this piece, that opening sequence always got me amped to play Perfectly executed, I love the waxing and waning of the volume throughout, it really draws you in. Excellent study / relaxation music
  12. This came on my ipod while I was walking along the beach the other day. The way the atmosphere of the music along with the beauty of the ocean and the feel of the sand all came together ... I'm fairly certain I'll remember that moment forever. Terrific song.
  13. You have no idea how much rhythmic gesticulation is going on right now Great job
  14. How about simply tagging the file? So that after you download it you can sort your play lists according to genre. I realize I can do it myself (and I'm trying lol) ...it's just tough now that I'm 500 ish songs into OCremix For those songs that don't fit, simply leave as Game Remix, because I see that as a perfectly acceptable genre in itself.
  15. Two very similar, very awesome games. They both have some great beats and I was fairly surprised there weren't any remixes out for them already (besides forest fire, which is really good ) I couldn't find any streams for Strike Gunner...Odd I thought it was fairly popular. But after a bit of digging I did find some downloads, so if you'd like them shoot me an email. In the mean time, here are some youtube vids The main theme of strike gunner ... makes up 3/8ths of all the songs in the game, it's great HOLY CRAP WALLS! I love this song it's perfect for the situation For U.N. Squadron, Project 64 is especially good http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/UNSquadProj4Fortress.mid You could probably do something pretty crazy with Canyon http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/a88canyonXG.mid And Desert has and awesome beat to it http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/nintendo/snes/UNSquadron_-_Ground_Carrier.mid Anyways thanks for looking, once again if you want better quality files shoot me an email I would love to get into remixing myself but as a third year Aerospace Engineering major (don't tell me you didn't guess! I guess these games had a larger effect on me than just entertainment!) I just don't have the time. In fact, I'm writing this at 1:40 a.m. the night (morning?) before a final and the day before I have a design review with Northrop Grumman....Cheers!
  16. Excellent job! I thought I had downloaded all of my favorites from FFVII when I first discovered OCR but I guess this one somehow snuck past me. I can tell from my first listen that this will definitely be one of my favorites right on up there with Chekan Winter and Jade Catacombs.
  17. This is one of my favorite mixes. The first day I downloaded it, I listened to it 21 times ... and that was only in the brief periods in my car or walking between classes. Excellent job guys! The title makes me happy
  18. I agree, I too was surprised that there were hardly any FF tactics remixes...One of the few FF games I actually beat and one of two games I maxed out the timer on O_O ( 99 hours 99 minutes 99 seconds played) Although to be fair I'm pretty sure I left it on over night a couple times
  19. I totally agree, this is one of my favorite Zelda songs of all time (along with the opening from link to the past and midna's desperation)
  20. I usually don't post because all I know about remixes is what I like ... and everyone has their own opinion but I had to share my experience with this song. I downloaded it last night while I was studying for my final and it was the last thing I listened to before I started my exam ... I had the song going through my head for the whole two hours and it kept me focused the entire time Everytime I didn't know what to do I would sit back and this song would run through my head and I'd figure it out. Thanks for a great song and for the help in thermo
