You're not everyone. I find children deaths to be revolting, as I am sure a lot of others do. Like Gollgagh said, it's probably for legal reasons, although I'd like to think it's also to be in good taste.
I haven't made a deck in forever and a day, but I would LOVE to play tomorrow. Someone want to help me out with a deck (either making or pre-made)?
EDIT: Nevermind, I gots me a deck to play. I hope to be there!
Jimmy, you are the man! I promise that at some point in the future your album will be purchased by me again (probably for a friend who will go out and get all of HIS friends to purchase it!).
Hey Physical CD's! Woo!
So I know you said on twitter that those who paid more than what the physical costs can get a physical copy for free, but I didn't do so...
I paid 8 bucks for it, and then shortly afterwards I bought it again for 4 bucks... does that count?
Not only do you make sick music, but are designing a game that sounds super awesome? Awesome!
I would offer my skills but I'm not quite experienced enough with programming to be confident in offering them.
EDIT: My original wording made it seem like I wasn't excited for it. It could be taken as demotivating so I changed it from might sound awesome to sounds awesome.
So I know that you didn't want to continue the underpaid amateur debate in Jill's thread, but if you have anything more to say about it, I'd gladly listen in. It definitely caught my interest.
I'm making a Facepage JUST for this. Good luck Jillian!
EDIT: After listening to it, that is a beautiful song. I think it'd fit quite nicely in Screed.
Really? I already bought it once and now I have to buy it again. I don't know if I can scrape up the extra cash for the physical copy. Is this going to be one of those special edition get them now before everyone else buys them?
EDIT: By the way Buzzsaw is really addicting. Da bass! Super props to you and zircon! And just out of curiosity, when you say something is featuring someone, how much do they contribute to the track?
Great stuff! Just sitting here listening to it and having a blast. Definitely some inspiring tunes.
And 4 bucks is a very generous price, most definitely worth it. Thanks Jimmy!
So, I've been trying to recreate/deconstruct/study/etc. various different songs that I like. Whenever I'm trying to figure out what notes are being played, for the most part I'm able to figure them out... until I hit Arpeggios. I crash and burn when I'm trying to figure out fast notes or Arpeggios. Are there any tricks I can use or exercises I can practice to pick them out? What do you guys do to pick them out (or did to get good at it)?
And one other thing, although I can usually figure out long background chords (as in pads), I'd appreciate knowing a bit more about them too.
I'll echo what people said before. Fire Emblem (any of them) is a good choice. I personally have Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon on the DS. Pretty fun and I got to play as my favorite Smash Bros character
