    ... as the end of the world approaches a lone Tuberz faces THE ARMADA!! Apologies to Xarnax, I'm listening to it now and i think he's too low in the mix. Any time you hear the vocals thicken that's him. Xarnax is in the second part of the verse and the chorus every time. I decided to stack him and strader in the center which was probably not the best move. You can tell i've only worked with vocals one other time in my life right? ...and that was Strader's My Choice stems from the WCRG. Xarnax really got into this quickly. Within a few days I had a ton of leads, harmonies and octaves to play with. Only to bury them alive in the mix.

    you mean those alien sounds doing the duet towards the end? I cut those... and I lost my shit when I first put those in too. :)

    Didn't sleep. Up all night. Done! Bed! Wake me when the tracks are posted in a few hours. I had a freaking blast working on my track this week. If anyone enjoyed the first part of the storyline to Sonic Colors. You may possibly very well enjoy this remix! I've wanted to do something like this for awhile now. Dreams really do Come True! Looking forward to seeing the tracks this round!

    If you pull that off twice that will be amazing! I tried to pull a Phonetic Hero for the Final Fantasy CC and it turned out GOD AWFUL! ...and Damnit Superior! Why did you have to pair up Amphib with Haks?! I want to hear more from both of these people!!

    I'd be open to this well. Though I think a bi weekly competition would work best. One week to familiarize ourselves with the synth and one week to remix with it. It would also be pretty cool if a selection of freeware was open to vote on before each round. There's a bunch of stuff out there that I have but never bothered to learn to use. The only problem I see is a synth not working for people who have older systems. But then again I'm pretty sure I am the only person running a 4GB XP studio PC.

    depends on how much work you're giving me. :) If you can get them in sometime Friday. I don't really care how late, but before midnight. That will let me have a day to run through everything and edit what I need to. If anything. In the meantime I'm just working on filling out the instrumentation but yea, I'm not expecting 100% for the competition.

    Having a blast with what I am working on but it definitely has brought a new set of it's own challenges! Can't wait for sunday.

    I enjoyed what you had chernabogue! Just to echo that about Bingo Highway I was pretty relieved to not get that pairing for round 1. Can't wait to hear an update for this track.

    The soundcloud contains notes about each section along with the lyrics. and yea, i looked at the lyrics that got posted last night and thought woowww maybe i overdid this. :)

    I guess I could try doing the lyrics myself for a quick wip update. JUST PLEASE for the love of GOD dont show it to anyone else!

    Probably not going to be voting for this one. unless i engage in some serious nitpicking. Haks and Amphib damn. Either way I go with that one i'll be pretty bummed out about the elimination. That was all I needed to see today. J.C. and his boys Wildfire...

    haha, i had no idea people were looking forward to dusk matching up with me. Glad that round didn't disappoint! Tuberz has gotta be one of the coolest people on these forums. If given the option he always votes for his opponent no matter how close the results might get. HOWEVER! I am kinda still burned on how his rock and metal remixes for the WCRG over the summer consistently outplaced mine. ...by no small margin either. So now i'll be looking to square things up! Get ready to shred Tuberz!!!!
