  1. He had a comeback, but then was banned again for HAXXING. Pretty sure it's permanent now. As far as I'm aware though, Dave will still at least accept song submissions from Prot, but nothing has been submitted with his name on it until now. Rexy, it's not the Metal Slug soundtrack's fault for that drama, you know. You're missing out when it comes to those soundtracks.
  2. Simplified Design got the NO treatment sadly, but Altar Perception was just accepted. Hooray more Symphonia tracks!
  3. Seems to be a positive response on Disc 3, but they seem to wish that 'Chaotic Heart' was a little longer and should've had a real ending rather than a fadeout. (I wouldn't have minded that either, actually) Also, 'Ain't Yo Fool' gave them indigestion.
  4. We can't be sure that's even what they were actually saying. Google Translation doesn't always get words right.
  5. Wow, coming up to PRC 150. Quite the milestone. Congrats to Bundeslang, Rexy, kamoh, TO, and reelmojo for starting and keeping this compo running over the years!
  6. I am not surprised by this development at all, actually. I knew it was just a matter of time. Congrats, you shittyjudgfgt!
  7. it's pretty funny that you used a picture of Chrono Kristen, one of the co-hosts of the classic VGM radio show Super Radio X (you know, the redhead covered in electronics and game gear) and proclaimed along with it that the types of girls who pose for pictures like that probably aren't really gamers (even though, if you listen to the show, it's pretty obvious that she is). Not that you are wrong for the most part, it's just amusing when one knows the actual source of one of these random images. EDIT: Dammit, Doug beat me to it.
  8. Looks like some others are doing track-by-track reviews, too, namely this Japanese blogger. Of course since I don't know Japanese, I ran the text through Google Translator, and what it spit back out at me was pretty hilarious. I figured I had to share the translated version( for some reason direct translation of the site itself isn't working): From what I can tell, this guy love Sir Nuts (who is a Transformer), thinks some songs were pathetic, and mentions "scat" a lot. Ah, bad translations are awesome.
  9. Not sure the website will ever be updated, so here's 3 more bonus tracks: Showroom Dummy - Pixelated Tales (The Land of Sylvarant): http://kngi.org/talesproject/site/release/bonus/BT-SoS-ShowroomDummy-PixelatedTales(TheLandofSylvarant).mp3 LuIzA, CarboHydroM - Strike of the Devil's Axes (Alternate Version): http://kngi.org/talesproject/site/release/bonus/SoS-LuIzA,CarboHydroM-StrikeoftheDevil%27sAxes(Fatalize)-AlternateVersion.mp3 AndyJayne - Raising a Curtain (WIP): http://kngi.org/talesproject/site/release/bonus/BT-SoS-AndyJayne-RaisingaCurtain(WIP).mp3 Also, the intro for The Unholy Wars, as composed by Dhsu: http://kngi.org/talesproject/site/release/bonus/FightingoftheSpiritPianoIntro.pdf (I'm not sure this was actually transcribed completely accurately, but it gives you an idea, at least. )
  10. I'm pretty sure this is correct, or at least the remix takes elements from both 'Obsession' and 'Secret of Mana'. The main melody definitely follows SoM.
  11. Pay for the entire cost of the trip and I'll be there. So yeah, I won't be there.
  12. Yeah, Nekofrog should be checked out. Also, thank you tag system for making this question extremely easy to answer. http://www.ocremix.org/forums/tags.php?tag=rock http://www.ocremix.org/forums/tags.php?tag=guitar Not all of the songs on the site have tags, though. I'll have to fix that whenever Dave or Larry get around to giving me tagging permissions again.
  13. I figured as much, since based on the color it looks exactly like the Halo Game Fuel. I wouldn't be surprised if the Alliance formula is just a bottled version of Blue Shock (which so far has only been released as a 7-11 Slurpee).
  14. Have you grabbed all of the stuff available at his website?
  15. Mattias “Another Soundscape” Häggström Gerdt has finally come to Nitro Game Injection! OverClocked ReMix judge, contributor to Final Fantasy VII Voices of the Lifestream and Street Fighter II HD ReMix, and composer for XBox Live Arcade games Artoon, The Perfect Match, and the upcoming Kaleidoscope joins NGI on this episode for an in-depth interview regarding his works, game music composition, gaming experiences, and more great stuff. Also includes TWO exclusive tracks from the man himself! Nitro Game Injection #119 – Hot Seat: Another Soundscape
  16. Pretty sad to lose this one, but it does in fact rock the yard. Good stuff, Brad!
  17. The new version of this track that Sixto did is much better than this (though this is still awesome, of course). Too bad he doesn't have it posted up anymore...
