NEWS!!
yay, aria is done, just to get the wav in now!
OMG...Hemo is a little girl with a television..face....
Must've had a sex change/age reduction since I saw him last...

Aww, does Rayza's contract expire?
-
Speaking of the status list, I've updated it a bit. I am open to discussing a possible exemption if you feel you won't have a WIP ready by August 1st, but I'm not being lax about it, so prepare a good excuse.
I've also decided to minimize the amount of information in the first post, as most of the information is available on the website now. Makes the post easier to edit, too.

I just wanted to thank you guys for mentioning the Tales project on the show this week. I appreciate it.
-
There's still a lot of details to be sorted out, such as adjustments to some of the songs, project artwork, etc. etc. Plus, Kirby's gotta have a chance to sink in a bit, I'd think.

Flash is a difficult program to learn, so I can only imagine how much of a pain it would be to teach.
It's definitely not the most user-friendly piece of software out there. It's more like a computer development/programming tool, not a graphics tool.

XMark has a WIP of his Sylphis song up over at the forums. Go check it out!
EDIT: I also just took a look and counted the days left to get a WIP of your song in if you haven't already; you have twenty days to do so. If you do not, you will be publicly scorned and humiliated, so don't let that happen!
If you aren't sure if you've submitted a WIP, check the current song status list at the forums. Remember, WIPs don't have to be anything definite; just a minute or two of some decent ideas and material. Keep workin'!
-
Also, I am wondering when these things get moved to WIP. I mean....it pretty much served its purpose in Gendisc.
After one week of time in GenDisc (which means front page exposure), the thread gets sent to WIP.
-
That is MUCH better. I'd print it.
-
People can also encode their tracks at the higher quality bitrate for distribution (or just provide .wav files), and then encode a seperate, lower quality file for the storybook Flash project.

Kirby is cool and all.. But I want Doom! DOom! DOOOOOoooOoOOOOOoOOoooOooOOOOoooOOoOOM!
That and Tales Symphonic Arrangement... Should harrass Kyle some more..
I have no idea what makes you think that harassing ME is gonna make the project come out any faster; the quickness of the release is up to how fast the remixers get it done, and I'm sure anyone else who's ever coordinated a project can agree.
Oh, and the project is hardly "symphonic"; it's gonna rock faces off.
-
Now that's a flavor everyone can enjoy.
-
I'll have to look back, but I don't think Snapple or KFC actually said that...
-
And just for the record, at least 3 people were doing a wip for boss 1, including myself, DJ Notte (I think thats who it was) and Blue Magic.
Sure, but nobody stepped up and actually said "I'M CLAIMING THAT TRACK!" At least, as far as I saw.
-
Thanks, NutS; I'll make a note of that and see what comes up.
Speaking of making notes of things: Norrin Radd is unfortunately unable to contribute to this project, so I got Joker to pick up Freeze yesterday. Welcome aboard, Joker!
-
They don't get posted in a lot, but the view count is through the roof.
-
Oh, I know.
-
so we can't drop out without feeling guilty anymore ?
Exactly.
Actually, I've already been thinking of potential replacements JUST IN CASE, so if someone needs to drop out, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. But why would you drop out now, PriZ? You've been rocking faces off.
-
Just a small announcement:
THIS PROJECT IS NOW IN FULL LOCKDOWN.
No new remixers will be able to join, unless another remixer currently on board has to leave the project for whatever reason. What you're looking at on the main page is essentially what the finished project will look like.
Please note that any remixers currently involved may still take advantage of the "extra alternate song" rule, as outlined in the first post.
This is it, folks! Now the work really begins.
-
Chocolate money?
-
Well, Arek had to drop off the project, but I got Christian Pacaud to take his place on Beat The Angel. Everyone send Christian large sums of money for his awesomeness and generosity.
Money? Why not sweets? ^-^
Well, with money, he can buy whatever he wants.
I'm always glad to hear about any progress folks have been making, so keep me updated! We've only got about 3 weeks left, so now is the time to get working on something for your song, if you haven't already.
-
Christian just posted a totally awesome WIP of Beat the Angel over at the forums. Keep sending him money!
-
*lo* Thanks for the fast feedback! I'm kinda having some kind of creative frenzy right now. I'm almost done with the next part already, it will continue the guitar strums in the background, and a solo violin takes over the next part. Without expression in the violin play, I could already post it here, but I don't feel like it, it sounds soooo mechanical *lol* but the most important thing: I got hold of my ideas and put them into the sequencer
And that's what counts! I can always refine it later...
Oui oui, you suck!OOH! CLEVER JOKE ABOUT THE UNITED STATES AND FRANCE!
Anyways, Nice work.
Yeah, it'd be pretty funny, but Usa doesn't = USA.

Uh, you guys are aware that posting links to downloads of commercially available soundtracks is prohibited by OCR forum rules, right?
