No Sub-Zero? A bold move, given that he is, along with Batman, one of two confirmed characters.
Also, there are some headscratchers in there, like the absence of Reptile and The Flash, the presence of Raven, Starfire, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, and the Huntress, and Brainiac as a final boss.
Again, I think it depends on how much they're going with current events. Kyle is a main character in Countdown, and Roy is in the JLA. I'm not saying it's likely (in fact, I would say it's fairly unlikely), but it is possible. Hell, look at Justice League Task Force for the SNES. Green Lantern wasn't even in it because Hal was busy being Parallax at the time.
Wally will likely be in over Barry, and I could even see them putting in Kyle instead of Hal and Roy instead of Ollie. Okay, maybe not, though in a lot of ways, they are getting a lot more exposure than their older counterparts these days.
I kinda doubt they would go outside of the canonical DC universe.
Also, I don't really know how The Atom would work. As awesome as Booster Gold is, I don't know that I would see them putting him in (I'd probably give him less of a shot than Blue Beetle, although they'd probably put Jaime in before Ted). I'd guess Hawkgirl before Hawkman, given the current incarnation of the JLA and the popularity of the animated universe. They'll probably also put more of the younger generation in than you've listed, though it really depends on how rooted it will be in the current events of the DC universe.
Given the tendency of most DC heroes to avoid killing, will fatalities still be in?
If so, will this be some awful 90's anti-hero reimagining?
EDIT: Oh, apparently no fatalities. That works. This game is still going to be terrible, but just because it will likely be a 3D fighter. A Mortal Kombat 3D fighter no less.
Get Twin Snakes for the GCN. It's a remake of the first.
Not to mention that it does a neutral-A instead of turning around and doing an f-tilt when you press c-back. Really disappointing.
If I'm not mistaken, the "rocket d-air" and the d-air after getting hit are different moves entirely. Call me out and tell me if I'm wrong, but I believe Sheik's even look entirely different.
64 was a big disappointment coming off of the original Mario Kart, which remains the best.
Especially the battle mode. It's not even playable in any of the sequels.
he was a whiner

I've yet to experience air-tripping in the game, and that is the only video I've seen of it. It makes me wonder whether or not it was just a glitch in that one scenario.
If it does exist (which seems extremely unlikely, given how especially detrimental it would be to recovering characters, even when compared to normal tripping), it is rare enough to where it doesn't bother me all that much.
Your lag with Critical Hit must not have been as bad as mine, because it was literally unplayable when I tried to play him. It took over half a minute to get through the 3-2-1-GO! I exited out as soon as it would let me.
Despite that I played at a tournament level in Melee and am a competitive person in general, I primarily play Smash Bros. for fun, and, while this is a matter of opinion, I have found Brawl to be more fun than Melee. Except with the Ice Climbers, who I can't play sans wavedashing.
