  1. Thanks a ton for the feedback everyone, but I do have something I'd like to get off of my chest. While repetitive to some, you'd do well to note that many hip-hop beats are..well.."repetitive" so to speak. That's the nature of this style (Take a listen to the Champloo soundtracks for example). (Note: I'm in NO way comparing myself to Nujabes or any of the awesome producers on those OSTs btw. Not one BIT.). It's almost like complaining about repetition in a game like Streets of Rage; knowing full well that's the nature of the beat-em-up style. I'm not saying this shouldn't be subject to critique - but don't overly critique that which comes natural to a particular genre/style. I realize songs(remixes) here on OCR are usually very expressive, elaborate pieces with tons of things going on - and I really do commend/respect that about this place and the artists capable of such composition. It's really something I'm trying to improve on. However - I humbly ask that you take this for what it is; A simple sample, with a simple beat. No saxaphone solos or anything like that. I know my music isn't for everyone (and my technique is amateur at best), and as Maia said I just don't have enough going on more often than not. I couldn't agree more - but with a sample such as this...I really wanted it to shine as it's[the sample] pretty great as is (imo). That said though, I agree that more could've been added, no doubt. What started out as something that should've lasted a minute ended up well...a tad longer haha; And I'll definitely keep this in mind, should I attempt something like this again though. As always, I appreciate the feedback guys; Means alot that you'd take the time to listen to my mixes - and it helps this guy to improve little by little.
  2. This sounds really cool..seriously.
  3. SkyDiamond011(Soundcloud) Really quick mix- had a blast though. Real trip down memory lane.
  4. Awesome Cover indeed!
  5. Source:You should know this. If not, in the beginning of the song. Maybe Next Time (SoundCloud) Had a ton of fun with this one - hope you all enjoy.
  6. Deep Thought (SoundCloud) An amazing source here - the likes of which I don't feel like I was able to really do justice to. However, this was a request. I hope you're able to enjoy it however.
  7. Soundcloud: Club Links Request by my GF - wanted me to turn the source (heard in the beginning of the song) into something she could dance to. Here's hoping I was successful. No, it doesn't have a bunch of parts/fancy transitions and the like - the intention was to do something simple and fun. I am however working on getting more serious with my music.
  8. To those who listened, I hope the mix was ok. As usual, I'm open to any/all critique.
  9. A collaboration - hope y'all enjoy.
  10. Source:One who Bares Fangs at God Reminder of Mortality-One who Bares Fangs at God (Soundcloud) This was the request of a youtube Sub - and the first time I've worked with 3/4 time lol. I hope both then/you all enjoy. Was just intended to be something quick however.
  11. Very VERY nice.
  12. Hangar-Hanger~Mach1Delivery Song for a story I'm currently work on - really short, but it's only supposed to act as scene/select music. Hope you enjoy.
  13. I wanna watch Aladdin now - and great cover man. Get's the job done excellently. The only thing I'd suggest is to just add a bit more back up instruments you'd find in an orchestra (woodwinds, subtle horns, harps-misc percussion, etc) as the song goes on - Mostly sounds like a Strings-only as opposed to something orchestral.
  14. Much appreciated ACO - and do pardon the halting strings; A delay/reverb would've been a great idea for sure- that's what I get for being up so late making a beat haha. I'll definitely keep this in mind whenever I've an sample that ends this abruptly. Thank you for the listen, and I'm glad that despite the flaws, you were able to enjoy this quick mix.
  15. Bounds Beyond(SoundCloud) Quick beat done by request of my 100th subscriber. I hope y'like.
  16. For anyone else who listened in - I hope you enjoyed.
  17. This is actually really good DJS. No noticeable issues from this end; although I'm not familiar with the source, given from what I'm hearing I'm sure you've done it justice.
  18. I'm glad to hear I've done this epic track justice; Thanks a ton DJ.
  19. You mentioned my fav OST of all time - Racing Lagoon. You must be befriended.

  20. More Strange Sunset (Soundcloud) Hope y'enjoy the Rmix.
  21. Let's call it an involuntary stylistic choice haha - If it's unbearable however, I'll add that to the list of things to address. Thanks for the listen Modus.
  22. Original Violent Breathing Heavy Violent Breathing (SoundCloud) No samples this time haha. I've always loved this song, and it didn't help that I just drew up some quick SOR4 art haha (Shout out to G.Yamori who kinda inspired this as well with the remake music). Had a blast with this one, and I hope you enjoy. It goes without saying that I look forward to your comments/critique and such.
  23. Excellent work here man.
  24. <----SuggestedXiaoyuCarnival (Soundcloud) Sampled Xiaoyu's theme from Tekken 3 - had a blast. Hope you all enjoy the mix.
  25. <---(Suggested)FEAR Kazuya-Fear Rmix (Soundcloud) While I may get slammed for this (couldn't post this under originals though...) - This is just a short tune to go along with the image; y'know - similar to what you'd see on adult swim or something like that. Either way, you know the drill; Played around with the sample, added some drums - drew the picture. Now I'm sharing it. Hope you all like. And for the record - an arranged remix is in fact in the works (i.e No sampling).
