Don't get the wrong idea when I say simple. By no means am I downplaying what you've created here - I can hear all the different instruments, transitions and such going on. All of these come together to make a pretty neat sounding song. However, you even said it yourself in your initial description, "epic journey/menu screen sort of thing." Well I'm merely saying it fits the latter of the two better. Also, this line?--->"Much more so than many other songs I have heard and produced." *shakes head* Far be it from me to judge, but let's not get TOO ahead of ourselves shall we? I'm no professional, but posting with that mentality will only get you shot down quick.

Liking the arrangement and melody overall quality - Simply put, it's simple but effective. A very 'safe' track that could be played in a game like puzzle quest or what have you. However, while the melody is nice, I feel like the use ot at least one other instrument (say, a pan flute on the softer parts) to play the melody at different parts of the song would've helped with making it a tad more dynamic. Perhaps even a duet of instruments playing the melody towards the end of the song.

Lovin' happy street - but honestly, the trumpets do throw it off just a tad for me. However, the overall arrangement/melody you used are just excellent. Sounds like something right out of a scene from an anime or something.

A very fair, and keen observation. Many times I get caught up in the chords, and totally neglect to add a melody - The biggest issue with my stuff, and one I'm honestly trying to address. I appreciate you taking to the time to point that out, and that should honestly drive me to really work on that aspect of my music. Perhaps I'll build off of a melody first (as I should be doing anyways lol) then go from there. Once again, thanks.

Just Chill-Soundcloud "Dude. Enough with the quick beats already!" Yes yes - I promise the next one will really be a built from the ground up, legit production. But hey, it IS a community no? Different styles etc etc. Title kinda says it all, and I actually did this a few months ago, but figured why not post. Nothing special, just some additional chords/basic melody added to the subject loop. I seldom sample THIS hard, but it couldn't be helped this go-round. Warning:May bring about extreme nostalgia.
