  1. Nice job with this track - really liking it thus far.
  2. Green Hill Zone Really liked this one - actually felt like it could've been a bit longer though. : o Also, I'd say not to rely too heavily on the sample to carry your beat - add some more stuff in there : D Make it a bit more meaty - add your spin to an already nice sampling job. I'm sure it'd be awesome. Robotnic Beat Pretty cool (nice transition well), but i'm sure a beat like this would sound much better with some kind of rapping going on (its intended purpose I'm sure lol) as stand alone it gets rather repetitive (perhaps the length/lack of change has something to do with that). You used the loop nicely, but I feel like you could've done some more with it - perhaps sampling another part of that boss theme, or even adding more melodic input from your end y'know? However, keep at it bro.
  3. Thanks! and check out my soundcloud page for downloads of the beats.
  4. Great work here man. I don't really hear any significant things that require improvement as I enjoyed the track overall. Keep up the great work - and might I ask what program(s) you used?
  5. Tis Rukunetu again, with a new beat for you m'friends. This time I've done a collab this time around, but hope you all enjoy.
  6. Thanks for the input there Rockos! I'll ensure you're recognized for your help : D

  7. Other than the brass sounding really...static (lack of reverb or anything like that), it's a legit track. Lookin' forward to the final version.
  8. Battle at the Castle Fort. Knights of the Round Arcade OST. Isao Abe.
  9. Straight up Hedgehog right there. Nice work there man.
  10. Aside from the grating nature of the voice used for the main melody, this is pretty good. I'd just say either turn the volume for it down a tad, or perhaps add another instrument (holding a chord or what have you) to balance it off somewhat. Just saying of course.
  11. Horrah for Ableton indeed. : ) props E. Darksim pretty much summed it up nicely. However, if this is the sound you're going for - I would suggest cutting down the time (what took nearly 4 mins, could've been done in 2:30 imo) as it comes off as more of an "interlude" to me than a full fledged remix to me, due to it's static nature. That said, keep it up E. : )
  12. A decent job you've done here - however, it sounds as though the percussion was being drowned out by the synths-and then those sounds were being drowned out by even MORE sounds (the main melody) - as if everything was struggling to be heard. Also, I don't feel as though this needed to go on for 5+ mins as you stuck pretty close to the source material - that made it a tad repetitive (the addition of more instruments was nice, but the lack any significant...change from the source made it feel that way for me). My apologies for the juvenile description, but I'm far from a pro music wise. That said, keep at it man.
  13. I'll definitely keep all of this in mind the next time I attempt something like this. I was really trying to venture out of my comfort zone with this track, but thank you for the critique - both of you. That said, I'm glad there was some kind of enjoyment derived from the track haha.
  14. Damn. That was impressive to me - melody or not.
  15. haha - interesting title! But it wounds like your standard affair, but decent none the less.
  16. Goin' with the whole 'recital' sound huh? Nice job.
  17. Dude...a game? That's just awesome. Great music and such as well.

  18. Sup Forum? Hope all are well. Just a heads up on my latest project - some full (i.e no sampling) remixes/covers from the excellent Knights of the Round OST. Gonna really push myself with this one. Gonna be a mix of Rock, Jazz, and anything else my inspiration inspires me to do. That said - for anyone who's a fan of the game/heard the OST (arcade or otherwise), what tracks might you like to hear? I'm currently gonna tackle 7 of 'em - and one spot is taken by Battle at the Castle port. Looking forward to your answers.
  19. GREAT work here. Doesn't hurt that you covered pretty much ALL my favorite tracks from Shinobi 3. Downloaded.
