Haha, thanks. Actually, I plan to sorta redo those videos on my music YouTube account within a larger video covering 10 tips for FL. It was kinda clunky. Regardless though, I'll keep both.

You should look over your Christmas remix for source usage, and post it in the workshop forums (with a source breakdown, perhaps?). I actually strongly believe that the production is over the bar for OCR. The sound design is cohesive & well done, nothing's muddy, and everything's realistic *enough* (the flute still has a few minor issues, but not significantly so that it actually matters that much). The arrangement is also not repetitive and is quite enjoyable. Now you'd just need to confirm the source usage is over 50% and it'll be good to go.

Thanks, Gar! Yeah, that was a really fun track to write. My favorite part is when the heavy bass drops in during the section with the strings arpeggios.
Your track was really cool too. There's a nicely serene atmosphere there with the plinky/FM bells and chiffy lead. The grainy/icy pad was a nice touch, and the bass has a really great, deep tone.

Yep! If you widen them, it adds to their stereo image and gives a sense of expansiveness. Adding light distortion should scale up the harmonics and make mostly the lower harmonics more prominent, which solidifies the bass frequencies some more.

There aren't all that many free ones out there. That's why I like using FL so much. BlueCat FreqAnalyst is alright, but it's just a spectral analyzer. s(m)exoscope is a fantastic spectroscope that I've found to be extremely useful (it can help with loudness, transient processing, and overall mastering).
Voxengo GlissEQ could work. It's free as a demo, but the full is $100, and the demo does have limitations.

I'm unsure of any free plugins that are as capable/intuitive as some commercial plugins. FabFilter Pro-Q would be my suggestion of a good commercial spectral analyzer/EQ tool.

Hm, that sounds reasonable. Yeah, okay. I'll join and pick my themes soon.

Maaaaaybe it'll work out. When could it start (estimate)? College 'n stuff. You understand.

It's alright man, but ACO already sent in the sub! Mainly I was looking for your crits on it because it was DnB, but I believe I've covered the bases now with my recent fixes.

Please don't spam trying to sell your merchandise. At least post in the right forum for that.

I thought you should know that production-wise, your track in Round 1 of the MegaMan/Sonic competition was da bes. Harmonies were tight.

The clicking sound is probably a remnant of a sound you had with a decay that extended past the point where the song is supposed to loop. If that happens, the remainder of the tail is pasted onto the beginning of the OGG.
-
In the case of Game Maker, it's possible to play a Cut Remainder OGG and then the Wrap Remainder OGG. If you want it to work with just one OGG, you can just use the Cut Remainder OGG. It shouldn't be too noticeable that it looped unless there's an obvious tail at the end of the loop, like a dragged-on cymbal or something.

Yo, are you the DDRKirby that once commented on my super old first-ever remixes on youtube?

Thanks! I try to leave people with the feeling that they don't have to wait days on end for feedback.

Hey, what's up? I read your post on the Game Boy album topic, and I sent you the "audition track" (and the actual track for the album. ).
