Dash: Loving the choir and basically everything except that synth. I just wasn't feelin' it with the synth. What are you using for the orchestral type instruments? Have you considered adding in some percussion? Dreambliss: Nice guitars!!! Loving that. They got lots of crunch but they're not muddy. Agreed with the other posts about the bass not coming through though. The song has got a progressive metal type feel to it. Reminds me of Symphony X!

Thanks alot! Listening some more and reading the other comments, I was listening with headphones and had the volume all the way up.....I didn't realize I had the volume up that high. It is indeed fairly quiet, but that's usually an easy fix. I find that snare lacking a certain feel to it and I can barely hear the kick. I like the bass tone, it's got a retro vibe to it that I think fits. As the others have said, add in some original parts! The mix is pretty short. Overall I still think it's great.

Well I like the tune! However, I think better synths/samples would really make this shine! The brassy tone is alright, but just alright. I personally think that the flute and that guitar-ish sounding thing are terrible. The melodies they're playing are great, they're catchy and I love them but the tone is, in my opinion, taking away from it. Agreed. After you get used to using an arcade stick it just feels totally alien to use a regular controller. The xbox controller is crap for fighting games I find.

My favorite first person game, and one of my all time favorite games was "Thief II - The Metal Age". The only other shooter game I like aside from Undying is "The Darkness". Just because I freaking LOVE the comic series. I'm probably biased considering I hate video games in general. I just like a select few series I guess.

Yes, almost all of the ones everyone's always fussing about. So I'm forming an opinion from actually playing these games. I LOVE "Clive Barker's Undying". A FPS game you've probably never heard of. It had plenty of innovative features that made it stand out from the wave of garbage on the shelves today. but Like I said, people never provide any reason as to what makes the average FPS anything more than "center screen - push button". That's because Halo, Modern Snorefare, Battlefield, etc, etc etc are nothing more than center screen push button.

Fixed. Though there are a few RPGs I do enjoy. The funny thing is, whenever I say that first person shooters are nothing but "center screen - push button", no one has ever provided any decent evidence against that statement. What kind of skill are you measuring? Who can center the little dot in the center of the screen fastest? I also rarely see any form of teamwork amongst the foul mouthed 12 year olds on xbox live or psn so......I just don't get it. Back on topic. I agree with the people who say that making a law/ban will, in the end, do nothing. Kids aren't allowed to smoke or drink, yet everyone I went to school with seemed to be an alcoholic who's mouth doubles as a chimney. When I was in the 5th grade, there was a kid in the same grade who smoked almost a pack a day. Everyday at recess.

In my opinion, as their music stands now people like Justin Bieber/Ke$ha/Rebecca should be getting the salary of the people selling their T-Shirts.

They should ban most all FPS games for the next 10 years. They're all the same and take no skill. Center screen on thing you want to make dead, push button. That's it. Anyway, more relevant to the topic this argument is nothing new. They've wanted bans/laws on violent games since........forever? Some games have unnecessary levels of violence. Movies do too. Sometimes, I wonder who's crazier. The person who came up with the idea or the person who's playing/watching it for entertainment. What they really should do is quit heavily censoring things like sex and nudity. "Remember boys and girls, b00bz are evil and shameful! Now run along and go play Grand Theft Auto!"
