Hey, thanks a ton man!! I'm really proud of this one, I'm glad you dug it And it means a load that you think it's at least close to on par with the Metroid Prime OSTs, those are some of my favorite tunes

As for mixing sources together, you just gotta look for good transitions; use a bridge from one song here, melodies/countermelodies there, a bassline here and there... just look for pieces that would fit together well! To be honest, there wasn't a whole lot of calculation involved in that one; as I was playing Wolfang through in my mind, pieces of the Prime tunes would just drift in and out, and I realized how well they'd fit together. I'd be more than happy to help out with the process/arrangement if you ever want to tackle a remix with a bunch of sources!

Haha I play from time to time, though I play League of Legends a lot more than I play SC anymore. And when I DO play SC, it's usually custom games. I stopped playing RTS a looooong time ago. Never got satisfactorily good for myself

Also, keep after me to crit your stuff after this week, but until then I'm teaching a drumline and writing show tunes and hanging out with the other drumline staff haha

Hey thanks man! The hard part of mixing last week was getting Charge Man's theme to sound natural/good in a minor key. I didn't want to do just straight "lower the 3rd, 6th, and 7th and BOOM! minor" because it'd sound too awkward. So I ended up doing a bunch of interpretation to get it to sound decent with the Wily source, and apparently I didn't do too bad since I fooled helios into thinking a segment from Charge Man was from the Wily souce

I'm excited for you to get going with Logic! It's a super powerful program, the productional tools are fantastic. If you want someone to listen to any of your pieces, send me a PM and I'll try to give you a cohesive critique! I even have some experience with Logic, so I may be of some actual use, haha. HAHA! Dude, I just listened to your track from BadAss. It's badass, to say the least. What made me laugh was the drum sequencing... Meshuggah much?! There's segments that TOTALLY sound like Bleed. Not much of a metal guy anymore, but it was a great throwback The piece is super engaging too, nice work man, keep em comin

Just read your post on the new posted dubstep track... besides PR's track, go check BGC's "The Clubbing of Isaac." I'm not a huge dubstep fan myself, but it's utilized beautifully there, and that thing really hits hard
