How many people still play this series? I played 4-6 as a kid but only around 5 months ago did I get 1-3. I think they are fun games, but it's hard to find groups of people that still play.

I received FL Studio as a gift last Christmas, but I've hardly made anything on it because I don't know what to write and I'm intimidated by the interface. It was the program I wanted (I had the mobile version on my phone), but oftentimes I just write nothing or some crappy beat. How did you guys start actually making decent music? I also dead-end quickly on remixes.

It must've been the production or the timid horns at the beginning, but I didn't get into this very much. It's cool that you put these three together, (SS was my first FE game) but I'm not "feeling it" so to speak.

Solid piece, though I agree with one of the youtube commenters that it sounds more akin to a ravaged city than a swamp.

Very nice mix! The eastern influence gives it a nice atmosphere and the percussion was very cool.

I second sniffing the instruction booklet. When getting a new game, I never start right away. I always make myself finish all chores, homework, etc before I even load the game. I also love reading reviews, even if I already own the game. Also, I tend to quit near the end of games (hate that).

Solid atmosphere. I liked the guitar part and I agree that you should experiment with some sound effects.

I agree on the piano and I also have to say that the bass can be really overbearing at times and the tambourine is obnoxiously loud. It practically makes me jump every time I hear it. I also agree that you should put a little more "you" in the song.

I would take out that cymbal; it kills the gentle atmosphere. Also, the song seems minimal and has empty space that I personally think should be filled.

Not bad, I like the slightly mysterious atmosphere.

Nice variety! I think the whole music on top of gameplay footage was a cool idea as well.

Decent EP, even though my taste in electronica is generally more experimental. I like A Vanishing Mist the best; the intro sets up a nice atmosphere and I like the synths.

I feel like these tracks could've been some cool type of chip tune dubstep, but they instead came out as normal edm tunes with chippy sounds. Don't be afraid to experiment.

I thought it was cool until 1:35......when it became really cool. Nice job.

I would like to hear your original stuff too. I have a lot of troubles with melodies so maybe we can help each other. You did say you wanted this to be more than a feedback thread, after all.

I am not familiar with the source material, so I don't know how much you added onto the strings, but I can say that your percussion felt very awkward. The timpani roll at the start cut off very quickly and that clicky instrument (claves?) was overbearing the strings on its first hit. The cymbal was fine, but I felt like the rest of the percussion was just off and it hurt the flow of the song. I would reccomend spending more time playing around with the percussion until you can get it to a spot where it can complement the strings well. If this your entry into composing, don't feel bad; I think a lot of my own stuff isnt all that great too.

Nice job getting the intended vibe. The piece began to feel a bit stagnant after a while, but the piano helped with keeping it atmospheric. I would reccomend maybe changing the melodies up a bit, as the song can get ho-hum at times. Overall, good job!
