BTW the old "Water" album sounds pretty neat out of speakers. Now I have to go convince my suitemates this is for meditation or something.

The mixing is really getting to me but this is still well-executed. I'd say it's a battle theme worthy of a good RPG.

The seriousness of the content in question and the acts that it depicts trump decorum and tact, in my mind, but I actually think many responses were quite calm & reasonable, including the one I quoted above.
I appreciate your appeal to principle, art, and policy. On the third point, I disagree with you that our standing policy surrounding pornography does not apply.
On principle & art... I'm a passionate defender of free speech and I'm opposed to censorship, but my choosing for OCR to be a place devoid of content that in any way exploits sexual abuse & rape is a form of speech too. This is me speaking: I'm not okay with this site and this community providing a resource that aids in the creation of content of this nature.

Thanks for the compliment, it means a lot to me as the only non-posted remixer on the album. I hope the last section was positively interesting!  Its inclusion was more of a passion thing for me, an attempt at making the song more memorable&unique... I've found that some of my favorite remixes(jade catacombs, the quick and the blue.. off the top of my head) incorporate totally unexpected&original sections in addition to rearranged source material so my best hope is that at least some people might enjoy my song in a similar vein. Here's hoping that ocr still accepts songs like that, and it isn't keeping my mix from getting posted.

This is a pretty strong album, overall more so than the first  IMO. Lots of interesting styles and creativity here; it feels like the artists all really made the source(s) their own. RiverSound, your track reminds of an idea I once had to use that tune as a ballad in an indoor drumline show. It sounds great; the last 90 seconds are really interesting. Once again, Darkesword makes a great conclusion.

I agree; the music seems watered down lately. I sea that with this album, OCR has really hit rock bottom. Nothing has any depth anymore. Congratulations Darkeword. I'm shore you're happy you FINished off the stream of good music. I'm going to go krill myself. Actually, I don't eel like it.

Mega Man Battle Network has been remixed once in PRC, in round 202. The source was MMBN - Cold And Silent
That round had two sources, remixers could choose between them. The winning track of OneUp was a remix of the Mega Man Battle Network source, I don't know about the other entries, maybe they mixed the Mega Man source as well. You can find them here:

I am becoming more convinced OCR is a hot spot for interesting music styles, not just a video game music site. Chiptune + piano; I've never considered it, but it works so well here. Seriously good connection between differing elements. Plus that piano part just goes insane. Excellent remix.

This fits the laid-back internet worlds of BN SO well. More. Please.

Hello OCR, another cover is finished. This one is very short, but was very challenging to make.
Last two covers where (mostly) done with midi. I was advised to use more physical instruments and let go of the original form. Though the form is still original, I did give it a twist.
As always, I wont be working on this one anymore than I already did. 
Feedback is welcome, any ideas or direction you think I should go or try out is welcome too.

I like how this mix is distinctly modern yet doesn't become a borefest like much EDM. Great job in the mixing/effects department and your sound design is pretty sweet too. Good stuff. Think I'll give the source a listen too.

I agree that the arp feels a bit off for some reason. Aside from that, this is freaking majestic. Like download-before-the-30-second-mark good. The guitar sounds fantastic.

I think I reached 25. Pretty good for 2-3 days. I'll definitely return to post more in January. It's good to be back.

EDIT 1: So 6 hours later and I'm at 34 (I think, everything has gone blurry...)
They may be the most detailed or concise (or cohesive or in English or...) but I've tried to make each one at least 3 or 4 sentences long with some positives and some negatives. I'm going to try for the remaining 16 before midnight (children, family and New Years Eve parties permitting). Wish me luck!
EDIT 2: OK so the allure of free food and alcohol got the better of me so I didn't manage to get to 50. Still; doing review has been quite enjoyable so I'm going to carry on regardless. Happy 2016 everybody!
