  1. You are so nice to be reviewing so many things. Keep it up! :) Making people happy. ^_^

  2. Although it's a flying track, I could definitely imagine it used for some underwater exploring, ala Ecco. It's calm yet urgent. Inspiring throughout with little breaks from that feeling (eg. 1:40-1:46) and even the breaks just seem intended to push us up again. Flying? Swimming? Either way, it's cool.
  3. Oh man, what a beat ^__^ Love that it carries through the entire track, but especially the little change-up at 2:15.
  4. Travelling the land. So relaxing. Contemplative, even. Inspiring. The hum sound (eg. at 2:00) feels really good. Love the play that starts at 3:12 and finishes up the track. Just lovely. :3
  5. Malevolent mire! Bit creepy but bit playful as well. The end (from 3:40) builds up quite nicely. I had to turn the volume up. It comes across as rather quiet. :] I like from 1:23-1:38. It gets louder! XD And there are more bubbles too, maybe. Coming out of the pause at 2:17 makes it sound like a climax was hit, game-wise. Like something terrible happened at 2:00. Huh... the more I listen, the more I think this could fit into Uninvited. Yeh, maybe contains more horror than playfulness, eh?
  6. Really cool If it didn't work as well as it did, I'd swear it was a cacophony... but it works really well. XD Especially love the bit at 0:50-1:10, though the whole track is smashing! ^__^ Also reminds me of Ultima for some reason. (not a bad thing!
  7. It sets great atmosphere and never lets up throughout. Good stage music. The prominent howling (siren?) at the start works well (0:20-0:50) and the harder bit at 1:44-2:00 is also welcome. hmm... with my head phones I can't make out all the words, but none of them grate on my ears either.
  8. Kick ass! I like how the background beat seems to build up to the transition. And when it does change, it feels like a smooth pivot.
  9. That's a good point too. Definitely spread the word about it.
  10. That is very helpful, thank you all. What I'll start adding more often is why I liked a piece or what I liked about it. From what everyone has said, this seems to be the best thing I can contribute. Would this sort of non-musician feedback be useful on the work in progress forum? Just now, I've realized I've stuck entirely to the review threads. Can't say I'm around a lot, but I could pop in there too.
  11. Enjoyed the preview pieces, so put down a small donation. :3 Thank you for the digital option Can't quite afford hardcopy at the moment.
  12. What things do musicians like to see when reading feedback, particularly from non-musicians? Usually I post - that I liked it + why I liked it (try to identify the parts) - emotions I felt while listening - atmosphere or mood the piece invokes What else would be appreciated? (Did a little search for feedback threads. If I missed any existing ones, my apologies. )
  13. Oh wow, what a nice surprise. This is a great, little album. The theme is cute too. I really like it. :3 It plays like an adventure medley: lots of town and wilderness music (travelling! tough! ^-^), a couple harder edged tracks (for fightin'! :u), with the title remix piece working well as an ending credits.
  14. This is so cool! AND IT'S WORTHY OF ALL CAPS! :u Listening always brings a big smile to my face. ^__^
  15. A surreal walk in the park. Love the odd vibe I'm getting from this piece. Perfect for pokemons.
  16. XD I wish I knew how to praise songs in more detail. All I can say is I like it. I really like it. :3 It's so pleasant. And foresty. And pleasantly forestry. Wonderful piece! ^__^
  17. The title makes me think of an old man trying to get kids off their lawn. Fun track. I love the frantic chipiness. And a nice, happy ending too.
  18. What a blast! Uplifting... visceral... Relaxes for a while at 1:30 then kicks up again. Love the outro from 3:00.
  19. Great race music, with a sprint to the end at 1:45. Quirky and fun
  20. Oh wow, now this is really special! I just love how it sounds and moves around ^__^ Has a good kick to it too! :3
  21. Huh... what grandeur. There's a strong 'journey' sense to it. Terrific adventuring music for Ecco.
  22. This is music that could easily fit into an Ecco stage. A bit more energetic than most Ecco tracks, but a boss battle or chase, surely.
