Yeah I was doing that until I saw the "hours played in other Action RTS games" and I was like buhhhh... I did pick my favorite heroes based on HoN versions though.

Maybe it's more important to discuss what can be done on your part or their admins' parts to mitigate specific factors that contribute to the aspects of their community you dislike.

It's blocked (in the US at least). Can't say it brings anything in particular to mind, but it's in a baroque style and there are several FF tracks in that style, such as Dancing Mad from FF6 and Still More Fighting from FF7. Edit: That cover is pretty sweet.

All good reasons. Generally speed/memory becomes the concern with Java but that should be less of an issue with an ASCII game.

It's been stated several times that they've specifically made sure the core gameplay is exactly the same, so denying, gold loss, 5-second stuns - all in there.

Generally you shouldn't be pushing a lane unless all the other heroes are elsewhere and accounted for -- if you get too far from your tower you have a much greater chance of being ganked. That's why you need to constantly be denying your own creeps to pull the line back to your own tower. Also you can't rely on the other creeps to scout for you...they can only see so far and it's too easy to get distracted and not notice another lane's heroes missing. Have wards up at all times.
