  1. I actually will be addressing this, and will more than clarify this tomorrow .
  2. I'm working on it xD, and agreed. I think that the format works in the long run. It's a unifying theme that allows this project to go on for a while, considering that it's inevitable that they will release new Shonen Manga in the future which will eventually have a game made from it . Plus the 'Edition' theme is kind of an homage to the Shonen Jump Manga. Genre, and Theme, are two completely different things lol. The theme is Shonen Jump, and the album will be formatted into Editions. There are no Genre restrictions on the songs that people make.
  3. I actually did think about this, seriously. I planned to include links to everyones sources by making their sources titles links on the front page. I have a few other things prepared fot this Saturdays Update as well. This actually provides a solution to a problem that I noticed. Bleach does not have a lot of sources listed for its games on Youtube, so moving it to the 2nd Edition might not be a bad idea. It may allow for more Bleach sources to posted by the time it's gotten to. I'll discuss the rest of this with you via pm .
  4. Shonen Highlight Information -One Piece Sources and OST's will only be up for another day. So check them out while there up on the first page . -One Piece will be the Highlight once again in a few weeks. Alright . Can't wait to hear from you.
  5. Congratulations on the new baby DJP!!! May Videogames and the awesome music within them be passed down to another generation .
  6. Sent you a PM.

Also, the issue has been fixed.

    So send away :).

  7. No :).

Like all albums the music will be sent in through PM's, E-mails, or other forms of private communications.

I'll make sure that I specify this in the first post of the Albums Thread, along with the update this Saturday.

I am glad that you already have something for the album!

Can't wait to hear it :-D,

    Cosmic

  8. The first post has been updated with this weeks Shonen Highlight. -Sources and OST's can be found on the first page. -The sources posted are eligible to be remixed for this album, so claim it if you like it .

  10. I am so glad that I found this site back in 2010. May it always produce awesomely epic remixes! Happy B-day OCR !!!!
  11. I fixed it in the first post . Yeah, I'm ready to take this thing on. It will be featured in the 2nd Edition. All of this is stated in the first post. The more support that we have for the album; the faster we will reach that Edition.
  12. Oh man xD, sorry about that. I wasn't feeling well when I read that, and in skimming through it I read shamisen......as shakuhachi XD. I'll update it to Instruments, as a general description . Thanks for pointing that out. Sure, that's absolutly great! We're actually going to be posting sources soon, so that people ccan pick from games that they haven't played. We're still working that out. Expect an announcement soon.
  13. Alright , I've got your resources down on the first page as: Male Vocals (Baritone), Live Guitars, & Ethnical Percussion. Ethnical Percussion is perfect for this album.
  14. Announcement -DarkeSword will be the Song Evaluator for this album. -Also, there is no rush for artists to send in or make WIPs, as we are currently in the claiming process (see first post). -I'll update the first post to include more information that is pertinent to the album . I've updated the first post, and have listed you guys as vocals . [Orangedragan, and Xarnax] That is a lot . Is there a general discription for the other instruments? Can I put you down as a Live Guitarist?
  15. Thanks for the input guys . The first post has been updated. There will be no further changes to the format. [Regarding claiming sources anyway ]
  16. Sorry about the delay everyone, but it looks like I accidentally cut off a nice chunk of the first page while editing it on a handheld device . So, I'll re-format the front page adding back in the games yu yu hakusho, yu-gi-oh, and whatever else was cut off.
  17. The first post has been updated. Feedback is greatly appreciated, Cosmic
  18. Happy B-day Esperado :).

  19. First page updated with new info. Thanks for all of fhe feedback!
  20. I'm posting this thread here in hope of finding someone who can translate English into Romaji (Japanese) for a song in the Shonen Jump Album. I'm also hoping to find someone who can sing in Japanese as well. Any help would be great , Cosmic
  21. This. So, much xD. I have some more solidified ideas. I'll update the first post when I have the time to. @Tuberz: Would love to have you participate!
  22. Thanks, I do agree that “games from anime” is too broad of a theme. I really like this theme. So the albums’ theme will be: “remixes of Shonen Jump games.” --------------- To throw out an additional idea: Each game section (in the album) could have an opening and an ending song. (Just like an anime does).
  23. Shonen Remix Jump! Volume 1 ALBUM UPDATE Shonen Remix Jump! Volume 1 is COMPLETE and is wrapping up towards its release . The Anime Universe is quite large indeed. Giving artists a variety of sources to choose from (Much thanks to my Co-Directors for pitching this idea)! Album Status: Album Artwork & Website Procurement . Overview: This is Shonen Remix Jump! Volume 1. The focus of this album is to bring attention to the amazing music that's in Anime Based Video Games. Some anime games can be seen as obscure, but by all means this does not mean that the music is any less awesome! Shonen Remix Jump! Volume 1 pays homage to the Anime universe. Director: Cosmic Sounds Co-Director: Tuberz McGee Co-Director: SkyRiderX Song Evaluator: Darkesword Genre: There are no genre restrictions. The album(s) will be formatted into Editions; 1st Edition, 2nd Edition, Special Edition, and so on. This will also allow for the possibility of a greater variety of remixes. 24. I use the Notation Software Musescore along with the DAW Reaper . Writing and notating can be fun, in that you can see what you are doing in actual notes. Although where time is concerned DAWs can be, sometimes, faster. I tend to use notation software to see and play out faster note section (sixteenths and eighths), and to experiment with notes as well as unique time signatures. This, so much. Especially the happy accidents part xD. (I love it when that happens.)
  25. ......Wow. That is so epic . I thought that I'd have to wait and buy some better VSTs, but what I needed......was this. This literally solves a lot of problems with String soundfonts. I'm definitly going to experiment with this some more. Great stuff!!
