  1. Yea! Can't wait for this one! When do you get out of GDC? How is the support for this there, or did you not get a chance to pimp it there? (i know it's not a festival)
  2. I actually played Diamond for about 10 hours and I still didn't recognize the songs, but they're still really good remixes
  3. Some people may say "I wish this was 2 minutes longer"... but you know wat? Loop it! It's a cool song, you could listen to it twice, maybe 3 times.
  4. This sounds fantastic, thanks for updating it... not that the old one didn't sound fantastic too, it totally does.
  5. Yeah, whoever did that was a total ass. His/her tracks won't be missed in the least. Long live DKC3!!
  6. I finally got to saw this movie and it's every bit as amazing as Darkesword was saying it was. I'm probably gonna get it on the blue rays and watch it with family. We also saw Princess and the Frog and I think apart from trying to be too urban and maybe a bit racist, it was ok. Not nearly as good as Tangled though.
  7. I dunno about you guys but I'm putting xxx hentai in the tags of all future videos.
  8. Yeah, I'm sorry. I probably ovary-acted to the stfu'ing and stuff.

  9. I can't beat any of those games with my hands. You beat them with your feet. FFFFFUUUUUU
  10. I don't remember if I said this (sorry if i did) but i'm totally up for a Terra collab if you wanna..

  11. Yeah, and the Crystal World mix you're talking about I think is really incredible. I don't think it'd be a bad idea to just stick with that one. As for the other unclaimed tracks, it'd be cool to see some nice folks come in and make some nice songs for this. There's a lot of songs that i would ersonally really like to see covered before the album is completed, so if people get a chance out of their schedules, please check out the list and see if you fancy anything..
  12. I love your sig. Don't ever change it. :-)

  13. Sorry -- could you maybe split this off into a different thread or just delete the derailment?
  14. I don't want Celestial Entrance as a bonus track on NiGHTS project.

I don't hold grudges so if you want to apologize and talk about the situation instead of leaving it being awkward (cause I know we'll meet again someday), then let me know

  15. I'm not trying to be a jerk, i just think there's something fishy about this. I mean there's a leap of quality between even Battle of the Badge, and like Bonkers mentioned, Omnislash or Fishy's other tracks from FF7: VotL. That was in 2007 I think, he said this was from 2006 -- why not do a touch-up when he came across new sounds, instruments, or increased engineering skills? 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and now the album is out in 2011. I'm just saying that's a hell of a lot of time to touch something up to make it better whether it passed in 2006 or not.. It's undeniable that the site's quality standards have risen a lot since 2007. You say something like this would pass but more refined songs than this get NO'd all the time. I once was told by a project director who asked a judge that they didn't like a spot in our song because there was a SINGLE crash cymbal missing in a live drum performance. So I had to put a programmed crash on top and mix it in, send the WAV back to the audio engineer to have it mastered again, just for a single crash... I'm just saying times have changed, either that or some people get it rougher than others when it comes to the joojin'. I'm just making some observations, I could be wrong, and I'm not trying to provoke anyone, I'm just saying it as I see it.. If I'm wrong you can let me know but try to keep it civil, haha.. I mean no ill will towards anyone, I love Fishy and his music and I'm glad his song is on the site whether it's as good as he could do in 2007 or not. The short and skinny of it is the project was in development for 4 years, probably 3 years longer than necessary (I meant quantity wise), some stuff sounds a bit dated. It's cool to hear their progression as musicians between then and now, it's just weird hearing their 'then' released 'now' so much later.
  16. I think this mix has flaws that most other mixes get NO'd for today... A re-vote considering the age may have been good to make sure the song was up to quality standards. It's a good arrangement and source and I know Fishy is still around, to let this go through with 2006-era production is a shame... I do think it's a good arrangement so don't get me wrong there Was that an inside joke or something? Hehe.. I didn't see the post in particular you might have been referencing
  17. I think the programmed bass is way too obvious, and the drums could have used more velocity variation in the cymbals. It sounds dated compared to what you'd hear from the mighty Fish these days, but still a cool song
  18. Hell yeah dude! And I agree that tracklist looks amazing. It's like a delicious platter of hors d'œuvres that gives you a little taste of everything. I can't wait to see the artwork / final listing / website / zipfile? XD
  19. You can trust me man, I may not have a WIP for you today but I'll have a finished song for you this month.

  20. Congrats on the Pokemon release

  21. Get your sleep on with a server that doesn't have bed support
  22. Sweet mix. Nice use of static, and distortion on that drum sound. Gives the song a nice edge whereas the rest of the tones are fairly soft. Love the bell pad sound panned left, and the strong drum buildup at the ending that blasts the song out. Pretty sudden ending with that pitch bend, but it works. I dig the rhythm at 1:54 and the generally atmospheric "lead" sounds. Cool pad modulation, etc etc.. Nice work, man!
  23. There must have been some miscommunication there, when I said real release I meant on OCR. What would you consider a real release? We've got cover art and making tags and such shouldn't be a problem. If OCR isn't what you also had in mind then I'm not going to go against your vision with that. I have a web server and I can host the album there, at least I think I can, I've never had any issues with high bandwidth usage yet. I can make a website, host a torrent, put all the necessary facebook/twitter elements on the site, host individual mp3s and maybe artist comments but I don't think they'd be that easy to get unless you have them already. Sorry about the miscommunication there, but it's good to know that you didn't mean real as in OCR. Still, you heard the man, folks! 30 songs, if you want to help, please let me know -- not joe_cam! He's consulting but not collecting any wips or wavs..
  24. My guess is that if joe_cam had been satisfied with what you guys are reffering to as a "release", he probably wouldn't have approved of seeing it through to completion. But he did. It's easily another hour of music to be added before either of us will see it as done. Let me know if you'd like to help!
