  1. Hi. Can I change my name from VelkkuEvilBastard to just Velkku? My band Evil Bastards From Hell went under and I want to continue with just my own name. Thanks!
  2. A remix from a game that's not out yet... Why not? This song has lot of sentimental value to me cos this teaser song from Deltarune Chapter 2 (if that is what it's called) was released to Twitter by Toby Fox around the time my firstborn son was born. I had the idea for this cover/remix all the way back then, but because of the family situation the music making needed to take a backseat. Took me 10 months but better late than never, right? Musically I am in my comfort zone here - heavy but melodic - but I wanted to have a pretty faithful remix from the beginning and then go to my own direction still trying to sound similar enough to the original's tone. I played an octave down guitar riff around the middle, sounds pretty gnarly! Also this is the first time I actually played the keyboard parts myself, yay me! Enjoy! Original song by Toby Fox
  3. Hi! I only got to play Undertale when it came to Nintendo Switch and I'm happy that I finally did. Amazing story and gameplay with some really memorable tunes. This one just stuck out as a song I really wanna cover, so here you go! I know there's like a million covers of this already, but with this one I really wanted to stuck to the original arragement as much as possible. Enough talk, have fun! Original songs:
  4. Hiya! Another Temple theme cover!? Well, yes I made a cover of this like ten years ago and shared it to ScrewAttack g1 submission thing or whatever. It sucked hard, but it was the best I could do at the time. So when I started getting serious about the video game remixing/covering (btw, which is it!?) I wanted to do this again to show myself how I have improved... and I have, if I say it so myself. Got a bit side tracked on the end riffing, but I thought it needed some heavy dropped D twanging release! Have a lovely day y'all! Original tune:
  5. Hello again! Checked out this game and thought it is awesome! The stage 4 music really hit me 'cos I think it's a kind of departure from the typical Castlevania music style and generally it has some catchy melodies and a strong beat. Tuned down to B with the guitars to get that low end booming! And also this is the first song I learned by ear, in everything else I've done I have used midis to help with the composting/arrangements. The original track:
  6. Just for shits and giggles - here's the drum and bass version of the Wicked Child to show how exactly I arranged 'em. Also to show the bass tone what I got from mixing Laney IRT Pulse guitar preamp for the growl and an amp sim from Studio One for the low tones
  7. Thanks for the compliment and the hint! Pumped to get some feedback finally
  8. Hiya! I added a cover of a Castlevania-song here, so I might as well plug my main band Evil Bastards From Hell. We play 80's and glam inspired Rock Metal but with a bit more of heaviness/dirt. As our motto says, "Sick Riffs, Dirty Lyrics & Rocking Metal" If you like Mötley Crüe & Ratt, but with a bit of Judas Priest thrown into the it then it's up your alley! Here's our new EP: Oh, btw I play the guitar and sing backing vocals
  9. Hi! This is probably my best cover out of eight that I have put up on Youtube and Spotify. Having hard time finding any kind of audience/community to share these so I figured this is the place where I can find some video game music fans that give opinions and hints! I try to be pretty faithful to the original arrangements and bulid my own stuff on top of that cos' it brings my piss to a boil when you have a metal remix of some tune and it's just filled with double kick and djent without anything to do with the original arrangment. So there's my modus operandi, enjoy! Original:
