  1. Been working on a Deep Trance remix for Sweden over the past couple of days. Whilst keeping to the calming feel of the original, I wanted to give it more of a euphoric execution with the sounds present. Obviously, it won't compare to the original (masterpiece), but I like the progress so far. The general structure is complete, but probably adding more background layers to the chords and percussion (along with mixing) is my next aim for the track. C418 - Sweden (Metris Remix).wav
  2. Been working on an Animal Crossing remix based on Rainy Day for the past week because every single track in the franchise is goated and I just like messing with them. Feels sorta weird that for a "rainy track," this sounds "space-esque" and "Christmas-y" (well it's an original take ig). Still a WIP (mixing and mastering mostly), but like the sound so far. 3. Hey thx for the feedback. I don't often get anything constructive from most people, so I'm glad that you showcased clear criticisms in my work that I plan to improve upon.
  4. Damn! That hits hard! Love the percussion and unique violin resonances. This genuinely sounds professional.
  5. So about two years ago, I produced a remix of First Steps. Upon retrospect, it was flawed (but I enjoyed it nonetheless). However, I really wanted to revamp what I had already produced so now I have produced a reimagining of that same remix. I think it has more of its own identity, yet still feels Celeste-like.
  6. I've been wanting to produce some music that would better fit a video game, with this being one of my first attempts. I like the upbeat, yet mysteriously ethereal feel to the sound; the focus was to be an aquatic based theme (whether for a level or as a general hub for an underwater location). To me, it's ready to release, but I wanted some feedback prior to ensure that the production is quality. Thx! Underwater Cave Soundscape.wav
  7. Really like the eurodace-esque feel to the track, gives the original some added energy. Good job!
  8. This is definitely a random remix to produce, but I really had fun taking this 6-second melody and making it into an entirely different track that feels unique from Wii Sports.
  9. Wow, this is awesome! The classical arrangement fits right at home in a series like The Legend of Zelda. It feels both magical and mature in composition and sound. Great job!
  10. Really like the futuristic atmosphere and beat. Got a lot of SNES vibes too in terms of the sound design. Only thing I'd say is that it sounds a little muddy. Other than that, great remix.
  11. Not sure if it is possible to post this remix here because it's a fan game, but might as well. Loved giving the original a new nature-esque coat of paint, as well as making it feel more complete (with a constructive beginning and end - sort of an adventure in a way). Probably my favourite remix produced so far. Thx in advance to whoever listens. Kindest regards, Metris
  12. Really love the 80s chill feel, and how the melody feels unique due to the changed vocals. It mostly works (apart from when it's directly similar as it feels a little off).
  13. Hi everyone! This is the first remix I've ever worked on, so I wanted to base it on a track I love. That happened to be First Steps from Celeste (an incredible game). The atmosphere it creates when opening the player to the game is immaculate. And the retro tuning of the instrumentation I adore. When developing it, I wanted to somewhat modernize it whilst retaining the emotional and atmospheric beats of First Steps as a whole. Hope y'all enjoy! https://soundcloud.com/metris-77761303/celeste-first-steps-metris-remix
