  5. I know this isnt new but NIN realesed a remix album, until here nothing new, they (he) always do it, but this time Mr Reznor gives you every track from Year Zero to remix! From Amazon: Product Description NINE INCH NAILS: Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D YEAR ZERO ALBUM REMIXED: STEPHEN MORRIS, BILL LASWELL, KRONOS QUARTET, SAUL WILLIAMS, OLOF DREIJER, THE FAINT AND MORE REMIX IT YOURSELF: EVERY MASTER MULTI-TRACK MADE AVAILABLE "I'm very pleased with the way it turned out," says Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails' Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D (Interscope Records). "Remix records can be disposable garbage (of which I myself have been guilty to some extent) but this collection feels good to me." Spun off from Year Zero, the #2-charting album issued in the spring, Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D features a stunning diversity of remixers, from Joy Division and New Order's Stephen Morris to classical crossover pioneer Kronos Quartet and hip-hop poet Saul Williams; from avant-garde leader Bill Laswell, electronica's Olof Dreijer from The Knife, Interpol drummer Sam Fogarino and post-punk revivalists The Faint to an unknown fan who submitted a remix via the Internet. "I reached out to heroes, friends and strangers," says Reznor. "I encouraged those I approached to do anything and insert themselves as much as possible into the track. Some of the stuff that was done earlier led me to choosing other people to balance things out. The Pirate Robot Midget mix is a fan's work--I thought it was great, it filled a need and I asked permission to use it here. It's always interesting for me to hear my work reinterpreted--I hope it is for you as well." In fact, purchasers can even reinterpret and remix Year Zero themselves. The CD package for Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D includes a DVD-ROM containing every track from Year Zero in multi-track format (Mac and PC). Perhaps for the first time, the master multi-tracks for every recording on a major album are being made available to the public. The tracks are pre-formatted for Apple GarageBand and Ableton Live (Mac or PC); the DVD-ROM also adds the demo version of Ableton Live (Mac or PC) and generic WAVE files at 16 bit 44K that can be loaded into any audio editor. A special Web site, remix.nin.com, will debut upon Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D's release date. Says Reznor,"Remixes and fun encouraged." The link: http://www.amazon.com/Y34RZ3R0R3MIX3D-Combo-Nine-Inch-Nails/dp/B000X9PNOQ So, if youre a remixer and if you like NIN, you could show us what you got!

  15. I heard that B. Eno (all Brians make excellent electronic music?) is good too but never listened anything, maybe Ill check on him later. And, how many musicians does BT use in his shows? and what instruments do they use? Are there live performances of BT on DVD at sell? THX!
  16. I thought this thread was about the Bulls!!!! >=(
  17. Well, as I said before, with a DVD player and a 5.1 sound system, the experience is just amazing, it's true that you must be totally focused to it when listening to it, unfortunately, I have my home theater set it around my bed, and when I listen to it, I sometimes (well almost always) get sleepy, but it's pretty cool to sleep with this music, and trust me I NEVER use to sleep listening to other music, actually if theres music when I try to sleep, I must turn it off, and if I can't, I usually am awake untill the music ends. That doesnt happens when TBU is playing.
  18. Ok, I know it's not new, but Im surprised no one started a topic about this earlier. Mr. Brian Transeau made one of the best electronica albums out there, and nobody in this community noticed it? I know it was mentioned in the other topic (Bt's robbery thread) but I think it deserved its own topic. Let's get it straight, the cd is ok but you must listen and watch the dvd in a full 5.1 home theater system to fully enjoy it. I'll post some links to reviews to the ones who didnt get it by now. http://www.progressive-sounds.com/Music-Reviews/BT-This-Binary-Universe.asp http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_Binary_Universe http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2006/10/11/bt-this-binary-universe/ Ok, that was enough linkin'. I'd like to hear your comments on the album, and I appreciate remixers reviews as well!
  19. Did somebody play Groove on Fight for the Saturn? A fun game with 4-player cool gameplay (not like the #### of Guilty Gear Isuka) And all KOF released (with a ram cart of course) in it are very good games to play. Actually any 2-d fighter with the ram cart are good games.
  20. Super Metroid: it was chosen as Best Game Ever (in any console) in EGM, do you need anymore references? And Im shocked that noone mentioned in their SuperNes lists. =/ FFVI Best FF in any 8/16 bit system. James Pond 3: Its Sonic meets Mario game with very good music and long playtime. Dark Savior: it has bad controls but the parallel scenario pretty makes the game replay value very good.
  21. Super Nintendo: Super Metroid Final Fnatasy VI Sega Genesis: James Pond 3 (yeah this game owns, you people should give it a try) Sega Saturn: Dark Savior Wait, weren't we talking about old systems...? =/
