You know what? I like this a lot. I think that it's a great--if straightforward--genre adaptation that's solidly executed. The production and sounds are all there. My only complaint is arrangement; what's here is pretty damn good, but I think that you could do way more with some rhythmic variation concerning the melody. I realize that this is a staple of the genre, but there's a little too much rehash/repetition in the song that could really be mitigated with some creative lead-writing. NO, but just give it a little more for the resub.

Yeah, but: who is Flexstyle? Seriously, if you're gonna run a project, don't be a newbie. People have to know who you are and know that you're capable of running a project. You need some notoriety and/or clout.

Uh, that's kind of the point, isn't it? I mean it's an album full of covers by the guy who wrote the original music. It's par for the course, and consistent with the last two releases. Just enjoy it.

You might need to get the critical rebuild and then run updates.

Guilty Gear isn't a platformer, and there's much more to an engine than just the graphics.

I've seen a few games try to implement it and to be honest, it was really confusing controlling a guy and aiming a reticle at the same time.

A post like this is worthless unless you actually explain what kind of show it is. Fighting, Giant-Robot, High-School Romance, Drama, Harem Comedy? What is it? Don't just say "hey I think you will like <x-show>." If you can't be bothered to describe it at least post a LINK.

OCR isn't a genre. Learn what the word genre means.

They can't ruin it. It's already out. On the Internets. There's no stopping it now. I mean seriously, tons of romhacks of Square-Enix games have been around for over 10 years, maybe 15. Translations, retranslations, hardtypes, easytypes, rewrites, gameplay-adjustments; if they didn't do anything about those, they're not going to do anything about this.

I WANT SO MUCH TO HATE THIS GAME But it's bioware, so I really can't.

Lucky Star is amazing, even if you don't get HALF the references. After the first few episodes it hits its stride. It's a bit like Azumanga Daioh meets Family Guy: a cute quirky slice of life show about high school girls that makes use of a LOT of referential humor. Except unlike Family Guy, it doesn't start sucking. __ ALSO! Miyazaki movies are great but they're so overrated, DBZ was better as a manga, and yes, anime is not as varied as newbie fans think it is. You can usually nail down the genre and progression of any new show pretty quickly; keep in mind though that these genres aren't necessarily the same as American TV show genres. Anime, like video games, comes with a set of genres all its own.

It's already done. And it's a romhack, and romhacks have been around for years. Why do people always feel the need to bring up C&D crap? Just fucking play the game and enjoy it.
