  1. How d'you like it? I just bought Persona 4: Dancing All Night.
  2. Really nice, intimate album. Loved it. Great job guys.
  3. If you're talking about the post with the picture of Nic Cage as Cloud, I deleted that post.
  4. Email notifications for thread replies are FORCED ON. This is not good.
  5. Getting a weird error in ModCP. For some reason, TO's account is somehow showing up on this report. He is neither the reporting party nor the poster of the reported content. Is this a known issue with IPS?
  6. It shouldn't matter what key your source tune is dude. You just...transpose to a key you're comfortable with.
  7. OverClocked ReMix is 16 years old today! Like I said today on Twitter: "OC ReMix is 16 years old today. Older than YouTube, older than iPods, older than a lot of things on the internet. And we're not done yet." What are some of your favorite memories of OCR throughout the years? How has OC ReMix improved your life?
  8. This looks awesome. I'm going to buy it.
  9. Stop arguing about arguing. If you want to talk about the show, then talk about the show.
  10. I'll quote my album comments here. Additionally I want to say that I've been listening to this album for a long time now and I have to say that I love pretty much every single track. This is exactly what I had in mind when I came up with the concept of the album, but it's exactly the kind of album I could never pull off, even in a directorial role. Flex has such a great, deep understanding of EDM and tons of wonderful connections with artists from all around. I think we'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who could pull off an album with such consistency and originality throughout all of the tracks. Major props to all of the artists involved, especially the fresher faces we don't usually see at OC ReMix. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing this idea to life.
  11. While we don't have a way of just linking this in IPS yet, you can find remixes with the least amount of reviews by going to the forum and selecting the following options from the sort bar. Once we update the forums to IPS4, we'll be able to implement some custom activity streams where the least reviewed tracks will be available through a handy link.
  12. Genuinely curious, because I have not seen this argument anywhere else: why do you think Jessica's treatment in the story is sexist?
  13. Obviously any best-of album release would require full permission and sign-off from every artist involved. I highly encourage artists to revisit and revise tracks for an eventual compilation. There is also no rush to get a best-of out, so you can always wait until the tracks are up to your standards to put it on the album.
  14. Arkham Knight Premium Digital Edition (includes season pass) for PS4 for 17 bucks on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Z7V8HRK?ref_=dsvrt_myd_asin_block Possibly a price error but I got mine. GO GO GET.
  15. *heavy breathing*
  16. I was wondering about this game, actually! I'm not that much of an AC fan, but I am an Amiibo fan. Hm.
  17. This thread is for actually posting deals that people can take advantage of, not for just saying "hey i bought at thing."
  18. Really nice. Post your art in a new thread, not the rules thread. Post has been split.
  19. that filter sweep tho
  20. Are you using the What's New tab? http://ocremix.org/community/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=viewNewContent&search_app=forums Set your options to "Items I Participated In" or "Just Items I Follow." This is almost exactly what the old User CP used to provide in terms of keeping up with threads. I used the User CP a lot too. The newest version of IPS that we're updating to will feature this heavily; they're going to be called Activity Streams and you'll be able to make and save your own.
  21. I think one problem, and this might be addressed in V6, I don't know, is that right now if you go to a mixpost, you download the song or listen on YouTube on the mixpost page. Then if you want to leave a review, you have to click on the review link. Then you have to be logged into the forum. What if you're not registered? Well then now you have to register for the forum and create an account. But after that, you have to wait until your forum account is manually activated. At this point, you don't really care about leaving a review anymore. Commenting on remixes on the mixpost page just needs to be easier. There are too many clicks, even if you already have an active forum account. You should be able to just hit play and write a review all on the same page. This is why people comment on YouTube videos. They don't have to jump through hoops to leave their 2 cents. These things might be taken care of with IPS4 and V6; IPS has a commenting system that could be used on mixpost pages (maybe, I don't know, I don't really know IPS's system that well yet). I know we talked about Disqus in the past too, but I also know that it's preferable to keep everything under one software umbrella (in this case, IPS). Regardless, I think the gating that's happening when trying to leave a review needs to be addressed.
  22. Sig size is softly enforced. If I see a sig with images that are stacked too tall, I'll notify the user.
  23. Interesting thing about Dancing All Night is that while it's a rhythm game, it's also a canonical story sequel to the P4 series of games.
  24. Yeah it's chronological. They all technically take place in the same world with a shared mythology. Persona 4 Arena, which is a canonical story sequel to Persona 4, overtly crosses the game over with Persona 3, with a lot of the cast of P3 showing up and figuring prominently into the storyline. HOWEVER, you don't need to play P3 to understand anything in P4. The main numbered RPGs are basically stand-alone (I haven't played P1 or P2, so I'm not 100% sure). They have different casts, take place in different parts of Japan, and are essentially independent of each other. The references to other games are mostly cameos or fan-servicey mentions of events or locations from previous games. When P5 comes out next year, you can just play that game without ever having played another Persona game. You won't be lost or missing anything.
  25. Yeah I gotta agree on spoilers guys. I know the games have been around but let's keep in mind that this is still a pretty niche series. I will agree on the subject of boss battles in Persona 4. I found some bosses to be overwhelmingly hard at first, even after looking at guides. A lot of times you do exactly what you're supposed to do in terms of strategy and it still takes a long time to kill a boss because they just have so much HP. There were a few times where I got pretty frustrated with some of the boss battles and I ended up spending some time grinding hard to make my skills stronger. Interestingly enough, the final boss turned out to be a piece of cake for me. I ended up using a strategy that wasn't in any guides or FAQs that I looked up either. It was pretty satisfying.
