  1. Yeah I was very impressed with this. Excited to see more of the world and the character. Love that tether gun she uses to pin down the beast.
  2. Like I said before, Siliconera is trustworthy. They never report anything that's just rumor/hearsay. Also, they were right about this. I've said it elsewhere. Ishaan has his sources.
  3. EA has announced Mass Effect: Andromeda. Pretty exciting! Looks like we're going to a brand new galaxy.
  4. As in years past, we will not be having an E3 mega-thread. If there are specific games you want to discuss, you can make a thread for that specific game. Please feel free to make specific threads for Fallout 4, Dishonored 2, and Doom 4.
  5. Final Fantasy VII is very popular and its 20th Anniversary is coming up in 2017.
  6. According to Siliconera, Square Enix is remaking Final Fantasy VII for the PS4 in a modern style for the 20th anniversary of the game. http://www.siliconera.com/2015/06/15/final-fantasy-vii-remake-is-coming-to-playstation-4/ Siliconera's a pretty trustworthy site, so this is probably true.
  7. Keep an eye out for the thread concerning the first-ever SFRG. I have a lot of things going on in June, so I've decided that team selection and Maverick draft is going to start in July, with the competition proper actually getting started early/mid-July. If people want to start figuring out their teams and working out Maverick selection now, amongst themselves, that's fine. As with WCRG, we will be doing 3-person teams. There will be 3 blocks of rounds, consisting of 3 rounds per block, plus a final round. This works out to a 10 week competition where each participant will be required to be the lead remixer for at least 3 of the rounds throughout the competition. There's no limit to the number of teams that are allowed to participate, but you need to make sure you have three people. You can use this thread for organizing teams if you'd like.
  8. Oh yeah sorry. We finished this. It's all done, coming out in a few weeks. Look out for it.

  10. I've been playing Witch Doctor this season. Not the type of character I usually play but I generally use Seasonal characters as a chance to experiment and do something different. I haven't been playing lately though, focusing on other games and stuff.
  11. If a song plays in your browser instead of downloading when you click a link, just hit CTRL+S or COMMAND+S on your keyboard to save it.
  12. oof. While an impressive piece of software, I've got to say that we really don't want people constantly streaming MP3s from the site every time they want to listen to remixes. We prefer people download the MP3s or use YouTube as a streaming solution. I realize that YouTube's sound quality doesn't match the MP3 download, but OCR's bandwidth isn't free nor is it unlimited. We run through a lot of bandwidth every month already, and if something like this is used more and more by visitors of OC ReMix in lieu of downloading once and playing the music from local files, that's only going to increase bandwidth usage. It also directly accesses MP3s and circumvents the download pages, which have ads on them that keep OCR up and running. :\ Gonna have to close this.
  13. Well. We already have a place for people to post rejected remixes. A whole forum! It's called the Workshop. Gonna close this up.
  14. I've moved your topic to Recruit and Collaborate. You'll hopefully get some good responses here.
  15. Let's get one thing out of the way first: this piece has a great soundscape and the guitar is fantastic. That said, the structure of this piece really bothers me. For starters, the track just jumps right in without any kind of buildup, and the accompaniment is basically on autopilot all the way through. There's a lot of flourish and embellishment in there that I like, but it still feels like it's repeating the same syncopated riff over and over again. Also the piece feels incomplete without a return to the source in order to restate the melody. This track essentially just runs through the entire set of chord changes twice: once with the melody, once with a guitar solo. Why not have the lead guitar pick up some of the melody in the front-half? Why not go back to the source for a little in the back half? Why only twice through and done? Like I said, this feels incomplete to me. Maybe I'm being overly harsh? The performances are stellar and this really amazing sounding, but the structure is leaving me doubting. I'm going to go with a NO, resub. This is a VERY borderline NO though, so if this track sits here in the queue for too long I'm willing to shift to a YES.
  16. Highly emotive, beautiful arrangement. I thought the violins were a little too exposed in the beginning but then I came to my senses. I hear the hiss too but it's not a dealbreaker. Really captures the love between Shovel and Shield. Fantastic. YES
  17. Hey man, your sig was gigantic. 250px is the height limit for graphics in your sig. I've edited it to a link. If you want an image in your sig, make sure it's not huge.

Understood, thanks for letting me know O_O I had no idea how to link it, any other way ^^; terribly sorry about that

  18. Right? I love it. Up next is a blast from the past. It's the opening to 2003's Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider 555. Here's Justiφ's ("Justifaiz") by ISSA. This song's got a great driving beat and the melody in the verse is awesome. Also love the random English thrown in, like "can you feel?" and "time to go." xD CLASSIC!
