Hey toilet_goat, nice submission. I enjoyed it very much, and I'll try to join this one, if I have time between the GRMRB and real life.

There are some songs that I think that need to be submitted. Both of your songs are worth a try IMO. Mine is not good enough for that, but still I'm planning on refining it and releasing it in the workshop or thasauce.

the Gario vs theguitarhero matchup makes me sad. Both songs are great. Whoever loses, know that you had something great going with your track.

Yeah thats my intention when joining these. To support the compos, to listen to great music (already delivering that), and to try to make some good music myself. As I said, the proto man bracket has to do its best to top the mega man bracket, just saying

About the prophetik vs draconiator thing, if you read my vote you will see that I pointed out I rarely take in account production values over arrangement. And I did say that Draconiator did much less in the arrangement. However, and from my point of view, we are voting on the song we considered to be the most enjoyable, not necessarily the best arranged. In fact I don't think we can define what constitutes a better song just by arrangement, there are several variables, most of them subjective. What bothered me the most was that the low quality of the production was very distracting and it really dragged down the song this time around. I do think that if you had more time to fix these issues you song would have been more enjoyable. Both songs were pretty good in their own way, and as I said Draconiator's song grew on me after a while. But I certainly wasn't looking for the "shinier" song, but just the most enjoyable. The bad production just was too distracting to be enjoyable.

IMO the hardest decision is between theguitarheroe and Gario. Both are so great, but one has to go. It makes me sad in a way. BTW the protoman bracket has A LOT to catch up to. We rocked the house .

Yikes. I didn't think voting would be so hard. The match-ups are very even and the mixes are just plain fun. I'm gonna hold on these for the rest of the week and vote on Friday or Saturday. I will probably write detailed feedback later .

I used to be a metalhead in my teens, and I still love metal and rock and it's what i listen to the most. But then you look at the music I make, and it's all electronica. Which I love as well. But music hasn't had any significant influence on my personality for more than a decade. TL;DR answer: No.

Looks like I'll be giving my mix a final pass today and then submitting. Can't wait for the other entries, but specially for anti-syne's take on the two songs I mixed. I bet there will be a lot of "why didn't I think of that!" moments.

"Outer Space Explosions". I know, it doesn't makes sense in the bomb man + heat man context. But it's a spacesynth/italodisco song, so the name has to fit accordingly. Heavy Laserdance Vibe .

I'm doing most of my mixing today because I know I won't have time for this during the week. I have about 3 mins of music so far and its not terrible, but I don't think I'll finish it today.
