  1. Hey. I just beat this guy yesterday, and yes, he's one annnoying bastard. Here's something you may not have realized (something I overlooked until I discovered it accidentally) his spore attack is an area of effect attack, meaning if you are outside of its range, you will be unaffected by the nastiness. Control your healer and basically run around the entire time, strafing around the boss, casting esuna on people that get smacked with the pollen attack. Took a while, but this is how I beat the dragon in the forest.
  2. Heal Party is old news, now it's all about Light of goddamn Deliverance. Ignore the shitty rest of the bar, I was dual farming. lol rebirth!
  3. Oh hey, this game. I still play, with the guild Nerby Downtown. Look for us in the top 100 soon. Anyhow, here's my info: Main RP Character: Miaya Sedai (Mo/wutever) lvl 20, obviously. Main PVP Character: Protection Rnd (Mo/wutever)
  4. I've been listening to a lot of swedish metal video-game-inspired music lately, and I think this track fares favorably well against "pro" renditions (i'm speaking specifically of machinae supremacy), though not so much as Game Over's previous two submissions. I like the track a lot, but it's definitely much rougher around the edges than their other work. Perhaps that was intended, but nevertheless...
  5. Well, binster should know by now that I really like this track. A smartly designed piece of work that eclisped my own expectations. Now when are you going to submit Home Sweet Home?
  6. Even with the bevy of new earthbound tracks, this is still the best. Masterful work, Rellik.
  7. Ogg is simply a better filetype than .mp3. If you want to have it in .mp3 format, download dbpoweramp and convert it.
  8. It must eclipse the April Fools show of '04.
  9. are you deliberately trying to not understand this? no one said anything about 'hiding' wips except for you. there's nothing stopping anyone from getting the wips or commenting on them. "low profile" just means he doesn't (or at least didn't) want to advertise them by keeping an updated list on the front page. not really any different from most other projects. Um, no I am not deliberately trying to not understand this. I just think keeping WIP's on a low profile goes against the ideology of posting WIPs in the first place, that being review, suggestion, etc. I suppose you'll say that those concerned enough can wade through the topic looking for them, but going through 60+ pages is limited to the insanely dedicated or those following the project ardently.
  10. WIPS aren't finished songs, though. Grabbing them means nothing, as the final product might be completely different. Also, WIP's allow people to comment, offer suggestions, etc. While I can understand wanting to hide finished songs, hiding WIP's doesn't make much sense.
  11. I'd really like to know where that quote comes from. That's pretty inexplicable, not wanting people to listen to how the project is progressing. If you are going to make your project public, then you can't expect to keep remixes "low profile" by making people wade through 60+ pages to find them. Again, if you are going to run a public project, you can't expect to hide WIP's. And I still do not understand why you would even want to do that in the first place...
  12. Hi! I'm new here, only posted a few times, but I really like this place!
  13. Koji Kondo and Matt Pollard greviously injured the stream. I AM KOJI KOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
  14. Damn! I can't believe I missed it! Larry, get that .mp3 up fast-like!!! !!!!
  15. Fantastic. I've been listening to this one ever since I found it some three months ago. Simply stellar stuff.
  16. "Lloyd! Lloyd!"
  17. 6:00 PM perhaps? That would seem to work for most people in the thread, myself included.
  18. Not to mention the "Larry, take off your shirt!" requests
  19. I've listened to this song 42 times. The singing is just perfect, although zyko's rapping initially bothered me, it's starting to sound quite cohesive. Excellent production.
  20. Really good stuff. I love the whole theme of this song, with all of it's folk-music trappings. Trenthian, as usual, really cleverly arranges his percussion to keep things interesting at all times.
  21. This song can be described in a single word: infectious. I can't stop listening to it. Even when I'm walking around, I start humming this arrangement. That is a true testimony to its quality. In the technical aspect, I can safely say that the vocals mesh extremely well with the background song. The instruments are well played, and the track is the perfect length. Excellently done. 90 / 100
  22. This is one of the most beautiful arrangements I've ever heard. No matter how often I listen to it, the emotional power of the acoustic piano still frightens me. Crystalline Caverns has a peerless trip-hoppish beat that melds unbelievably well with the dark soundscape proportioned by McVaffe. Undeniably one of the best remixes I've ever heard. 98 / 100
  23. So the entire judges panel and DJ Pretzel are wrong in saying that it's a good remix and that you are right? Sounds like you're trying to say that OCR is an elitist community, which it very much is not.
  24. Well, as much as I disagree with you, ShrikeArghast, the fact that you used a Terry Brooks novel as an example is awesome. I really liked this arrangement. Very light stuff that doesn't get too ambitious. Anyone else think the end sounds very similar to a well-known classical piece? I can't remember the exact name or composer of the piece I'm speaking of, but if Neil had segued into that piece at the very end, I'd have been highly impressed.
