Do Megaman X (the first one). Particularly the intro stage and spark mandrill DOOOOO ITTTTTTTTT -
I got to Ultimecia herself back when the game came out and just... turned it off mid-battle. I wasn't losing or anything, I just... didn't care. I had put up with the game for so long, hoping it would suddenly get better, and it never did. So I just turned it off at Ultimecia and never even bothered trying to beat it. Such an awful, terrible game.

The the entire drum section, kick/snare sound great. Good stuff, keep going. -
it's called tetris hd for a reason

Honestly, it's harder to die than it is to get a line. Once you get to the VERY top, you have to wait for a block to spawn in the exact spot to end it, and that can take quite a while.

Here's my ranking of the Dream Theater albums: When Dream and Day Unite (1989) - Awful production, but what do you expect, it's their first album. For some reason it just doesn't sound like they had all of their ingredients in the melting pot in the right amounts. Vocals are awful. Best song: Afterlife Worst song: Status Seeker Images & Words (1992) - Not bad. Not the end-all be-all people make it out to be. The mellower tracks drag down what is otherwise a high-energy album. Some nice riffs. Best song: Learning to Live Worst song: Another Day Awake (1994) - Here we go, now things are starting to warm up. After two "alright" albums, they finally hit it out of the park. This is their biggest foray into prog-metal yet (and they'd go further as time went on). 7 string guitar is featured heavily throughout the album (something Petrucci would continue as time went on as well). Almost every song is stellar, though there is still some filler. Best song: Lie (tie) Space-Dye Vest Worst song: The Silent Man A Change of Seasons (1995) - Moar 7 string guitar! Title track is just AMAZING (it was originally written on a 6 string in the 1980s, if you haven't heard that version you're not missing out on anything). At 23 minutes the title track never feels like it's "dragging" (something that some later epics can't say). Unfortunately, outside of the title track, most of the rest of the album is very boring. Best song: A Change of Seasons Worst Song: Entire rest of the album Falling into Infinity (1997) - uh... let's move on (Hell's Kitchen is pretty much the only solid track) Metropolis Part II: Scenes from a Memory (1999) - Certainly MUCH better than Falling into Infinity, but still plagued with those "mellow" tracks that come off as cheesy, corny, and simply serve to slow the momentum down. Best song: Hard to choose, there are a lot of REALLY good ones. Beyond This Life maybe. Worst song: Through Her Eyes. What the FUCK? Six Degrees of Innter Turbulence (2002) - Fairly solid album, but again tracks permeate that just slow down whatever momentum builds. Glass Prison is probably one of their best 7 string songs of all time (Gigantour version is GREAT if you haven't seen it). War Inside My Head is uncharacteristically short but fun. Best song: Glass Prison Worst song: Goodnight Kiss Train of Thought (2003) - Holy shit. Awesome. Amazing. Great. Fantastic. They dabbled in prog-metal before, but this is the first time they went balls out and did an entire prog-metal album (beforehand it was prog-rock mostly). Every track is listenable all the way through (save for one...), and features both 7 string guitar and downtuned 6 strings for the first time. Only thing to get past is the Labrie rapping in Honor Thy Father Best song: Stream of Consciousness Worst song: Vacant (surprisingly not TERRIBLE for a slow song) Octavarium (2005) - A real divider. People who were upset with Train of Thought's metal-edge bitched and moaned, so out came Octavarium to placate them. Unfortunately it felt as if Dream Theater were regressing to a point that they didn't even want to be at themselves, so it can come off as half-assed. Some good songs throughout (These Walls, Panic Attack), whilst the title track is boring and meanders. Best song: Panic Attack Worst song: Octavarium Systematic Chaos (2007) - MUCH much better than Octavarium. Leaning back to prog-metal as they seem to prefer, they ALMOST hit it out of the park with this but fell short in a few clear areas. First of all, the lyrics are absolutely attrocious. We've had cheese from DT lyrically, but this one just takes the fucking cake. Fortunately musically, it's pretty dang good. In The Presence of Enemies combined as intended is a FANTASTIC aural journey. Forsaken has some nice ideas but the lyrics kill it dead. Constant Motion is a nice standard-tuned distraction that serves its purpose. The Dark Eternal Night is musically interesting and fun to listen to, but the lyrics my god. Reptentence contineus Portnoy's 12 step saga pretty well. Best song: In The Presence of Enemies (part 1 & 2) Worst song: Prophets of War So that's my analysis. edit: tl;dr

How you made something as crappy as my recording actually usable is beyond me. Good job. -
I stopped reading when they did Maximum Carnage. Man, what shit that series was. Great game, though. And soundtrack.

If it were possible, I SO fucking would.

See? This didn't need my crappy guitar after all -
Oh, please. You people make me sick. We all know that the judges don't exist. They're clearly a clever ruse to make us all believe that this site ISN'T run by a complete and total tyrannical dictator. We ALL KNOW that every judge post is randomly generated, and no mix is ever actually listened to by anyone before it's posted. So go ahead, so-called "judges". Your YES and your NO means absolutely nothing to me, for THEY ARE BASED ON A FALSE PREMISE THAT THERE IS ACTUALLY ANY SORT OF DEMOCRACY HERE.

Right -- and if someone decides to buy a USED copy of the game instead of new (as is common these days), then that's one NEW copy still sitting on the shelf that, eventually, will get sent back and charged to the game company. Still a loss of money.
-
Here's another thing, since we're talking about pirating games: Used games. The original developer/publisher/whatever doesn't see one red cent from buying a used game. How is that ethical? Sure, you're PAYING for it, but the intended recipient of the money is completely cut out. Can it be considered transferring the license to play the software from one person to another (given that it involves a physical media)? The original party will no longer be able to play the game. Are we pirating if we grab a few titles from the used section of the local GameStop and plunk down cash for that?
-
Because I have no job, no money, but I still want. Do I feel bad about it? Not really. Would I pay for it if I could find a motherfucking job? Hell yes. I LIKE to buy things.
-
Yeah, same here.

You utterly fail at spoiler tag. Thanks.

They were going to do another Rescuers movie in the 90s, but then that Gabor lady died and they killed the project. -
Sorry to say, very few people here play this on XBL. In fact I'd wager to say the total amount of Left 4 Dead players at OCR on XBL is... 2. Maybe.
