In my expierience, the Zen is the way to go if you want portable (MP3) music. It's cheaper, easily updated, just as good as the iPod, etc. The iPod, however, has the video and micro incarnations. Since i haven't tried a Zen MP3 player except for the Mp3 music, I can't compare. If you're looking for strictly musi, go with the Zen. If you're looking for a more expensive, perhaps more functional deice, look into the iPods or high-end Zens.

Man, I'm cutting this close. All my scanning equipment and drawing tablet is back at my home at school. I'll be at my parents' house for break til the 6th or 7th... I hope I'm feeling very artistic come Saturday and Sunday, cuz I'm gonna have to put a lot of work into it.

One way I know of (without resetting) is to hit Home and go to Remote Options, then reconnect the controllers. It'll ask you to press buttons on each controller one at a time. I don't know if there's an easier way.

Hooray! I don't have any more than a pencil sketch right now and I won't have much time to finish it 'til the new year. Here's hoping I'll be home enough to actually finish!

There are programs out there like D2X-XL that run D1 and D2 beautifully on newer machines. There's a small community for hi-res textures, etc, as well. Unfortunately they seem to be dying as of late. (The download itself is on Sourceforge, as their usual hosting has gone all non-existent.)

You can already do this, it's called Directional Influencing Which is basically a fancy way of saying "if you hold left while in midair you'll move left and if you crouch you won't fly as far."

Seems kind of a useless addition to me. Even the average player has a reaction time good enough to see "crawling" in action. My guess is it's a Snake-only move.

I don't mind the new look for Fox and ilk at all; you won't have much time to look a them onscreen anyway. Most of you will be too busy getting OWNED.

In the original it was always pointing up (towards the mountain), because they made one sprite then simply flipped it for when Link turning around.

It's times like these I curse loudly at my luck, as there's nowhere around here to preorder Wii or Wii-things. Will have to wait 'til Amazon or EB or something gets them in stock online.
