I don't see why vocals would be required; there are a few official HMX songs in RB-RB2 that don't have vocals. It just says "NO PART." Also, those that wish to contribute/upload their music (or review songs) will have to be subscribed to Microsoft's XNA Creators Club - it's $100 a year. That's really the only downside I can think of for this, though. Except that those of us who already chart in the custom community will feel less special.

Registered and 'spun' for ya, good stuff. Annoying that it can't be downloaded, though.

Limited in that the engine was designed with both the xbox and PC in mind, which resulted in a rather clunky feel. Player movement in particular was awful.

So Thief 4 was announced today, much to the dismay of people who hate incredible video game franchises. We have absolutely no information to go on, but that is no reason not to be absolutely ecstatic... For the next 3 years or so. At the very least, we won't be limited by the Xbox's hardware like Thief 3 this time around. The 360 is a pretty capable machine.
