In that case, you MUST use the speech samples from the final battle. They were used really well in the game (Lloyd and Yggdrasill exchanging comments while you fight), and would rock if you used them.

The spc I have for "The Dream Will Never Die" is brilliant. In the section where the lyrics are supposed to be, are two sound effects consisting of a small dog barking and a doorbell ringing.

In all seriousness, Symphonia's OST wasn't amazing to me, but there was some good tunage available (of which have appeared in this project ie. All the battle themes). Oh yeah, about the tracklist. Any chance of having the ending theme in there? Or are you just going to end it with Prizm's presumably to-be fast metal mix.

Dude, the Tales of Symphonia soundtrack sucked Well, it had some good tracks. You seemed to have picked the best ones, so go for it. I know someone who is going to be rooting for this project all the way. A friend at the school I go to is the BIGGEST Tales fan ever. Played almost all the games, downloaded the Phantasia anime, etc. As such people around him get annoyed with Tales since he talks about it all the time (doesn't help that he is a bit of an idiot). Tales gets a bit of bad rap around here because of it Anyway, best of luck!

Damn man, this ROCKS. Love the jazzy solos (especially piano) and while the voice is a little corny at first, fits in quite well. Kudos!

A lot of the trance on this site suffers from being too quiet, too 'tinny,' especially some of the older stuff. That's why I love this song so much, after the brilliant moving piano, an amazing synth lead comes in and with it brings an oomph not seen in many trance songs. Very well mastered, and it's also amazing that the trance section keeps the emotion of the piano somewhat, and that would be very hard to do. Kudos.

This is definitely a song you have to concentrate on when listening to it. Great ambience, atmosphere, and pacing. The climax of the song more or less leaves you wanting more, but is appropriate.

Excellent song. The intro is amazing, lots of power. Beats Kick my Axe to high heaven. Congrats guys!

Cool, I just came across this while listening to Winamp on shuffle. Surprised me for a rather old mix. The bass and drums are the highlight, but as djp said, the expansion of the main melody should have come in sooner. Nevertheless, a pretty cool song.

Well done Richter and everyone else involved. Now that's what I call determination (mostly stubborness, but there's determination in there as well).

However, since I have the KiC release, it's reviewing time! This song does an excellent job of seperating more "in your face" tracks on the album, but I can also listen to this by itself and it still does an admirable job. It would have been a challenge to arrange the rather empty original, so good job Atherius/DJ Starchild/Starky!

Awesome collab between two excellent electronic artists. This is sort of similar to AE's stuff with lots of tempo changes and ideas in the arrangement, except a lot louder, which in this case is a good thing, and a helluva lot more funkier (no offense to AE's songs though). "Wicked" work!

Ooh, first review ahoy! Downloaded this song when Star released it on his site, never played the game before or heard the original, but I can compare it to the other remixes of the same song on the site. Doesn't stray too far from the source material in terms of melody, but manages to stay interesting and different throughout. Really fun, a keeper!

Alex the Kidd in Miracle World was my first videogame, so this tune bowled me over with nostalgia when I first heard it. It was the only game I had for the Master System (except for a light gun game called Wanted, which I couldn't play as I had no light gun), and as I sucked at gaming back then, I never finished it. The furthest I got was the first helicopter stage. On its own, this song is pretty damn funky, but it's the memories for me that make this one of my favourite remixes. About seven years after I got my Master System, I received a Nintendo 64 for Christmas and thus Nintendo from then on had my attention with their games, especially Rare's N64 classics, but I always look back at how my gaming life started with fondness.
