  1. I got a Seymore Duncan SFX-02 Tweak Fuzz pedal for my guitar. 'Tis l33t
  2. I commented with chords for "Town Life on Acoustic Guitar" on VGmix awhile ago. I have an earlier draft of the midi for "Canvas of Dreams," though I'd like to clean that up a bit before posting it (if I do at all). I will definitely, however, get to work on at least writing out the chords for "Canvas of Dreams." A question pertaining to future submissions: should I send chords or midis to Larry or Dhsu apon submitting a mix to OCR? Or include them in the submission itself?
  3. If you want to hear "A Star Freezes Over," it's still available at http://geofftaucer.tripod.com/desperadostar.htm
  4. "Sheer brilliance" is the only way to describe this. There is not one thing I would have changed about it. Beautiful arrangement, flawless execution.
  5. That sounds good. Anybody wanna make it? EDIT: Thanks, Cap'n Hulk
  6. I'd like to request a small sig (like the size of the kirby project sigs). I don't care what it uses in the way of images, color, etc, but I want it to say "#ocrwip bitch"
  7. 3:12 - 3:54 = pwnage. Generally, I detest rap, but this is one of my favorite mixes on the project.
  8. Victory Star 3 is very nearly done. All that remians is minor adjustments in levels and EQ, and final mastering. BTW, this song is a collab between myself and Usa. Could you edit the first post to reflect that?
  9. Bowser was so hard in Yoshi Story. JUST KIDDING! Shadow Ganondorf or whatever he was called in the Forest Temple in OOT gave me a real hard time. Some of the bosses in LTTP were pretty tough, though none in particular jump to mind as the hardest.
  10. Wow. Just wow. This mix is absolutely amazing. Utterly professional, brilliantly arranged, very beautiful.
  11. I need a eukalele player (actually, any higher-pitched guitar-like intrument would work). The part is pretty simple; just strummed chords to a celtic rythm. EDIT: Any folky guitar-like instrument would probably work. Mandolin, bouzouki, etc. Higher would be better, but if you play a lower instrument, let me know as well. I guess I'll probably end up just using my guitar capoed up into the higher range, but I'd prefer something more authentic.
  12. I think it's safe to say I won't be doing a mix for this. But I'm still offering guitar.
  13. So it looks like Usa will be supplying the percussion for my mix, which is comming along quite nicely so far.
  14. Is there anybody here who's really good at writing percussion for folky celtic stuff? My idea is roughly the same rythm and tempo (maybe *slightly* faster) as Home Termina from Chrono Cross
  15. Hehe, as always, I'm happy to offer my skills as a guitarist. Acoustic is my specialty, though I've been brushing up on my electric stuff lately, and I like to think I'm getting reasonably good. I also, on the off chance that anybody might have use for it, play Irish whistle (D is the easiest key for me, though I can manage G) and Pan flute (can only play in G) alright.
  16. I'm out. If anybody needs a guitarist, though, I'd be happy to help.
  17. Added to my earlier post: I now play irish whistle and pan flute. On pan flute, I'm not particularly good, but if you have simple stuff you want me to do I'll be happy to take a stab at it as long as it's in the key of G. On Irish whistle, I'm reasonably good. My whistle is in D (high), but unlike the pan flute I can hit sharp notes on it, so if your stuff is in another key I may still be able to play it. I'll give pretty much anything a try.
  18. I have a shirt, but I might order a hoodie as well.
