My only complaint is that the strings buzz on hard strumming, but that'll be an easy fixes when I get around to it.

Sorry, but I gotta comment on this. This is a reviews forum. The entire point of it is to share what you think about a song. I can't speak for Dave, or for any of the other remixers on this site, but personally, I would much prefer it if nobody ever kept to themselves what they thought of my music, be it positive or negative. Anyway, glad you like the song

Holyshitomg it's good. I just recorded a light, fingerpicked arrangement while construction guys were drilling holes in my walls, and the recording still came out rich and pristine, and with zero background noise. I think it's a safe bet that it will be replacing my Yamaha as the acoustic I'll be using in all my mixes.

I agree that the guitar during the chorus isn't what it could be, but overall this song is very pretty. It's a pretty straightforward arrangement, and the samples aren't exactly stellar, but I still think it does justice to the original. Not kaijin's best, but definitely worth listening to.

Um... actually, the guitar part here is the same as my original version, almost note-for-note. Anyway, glad you liked it so much EDIT: wait, when you say the original version, are you talking about my old arrangement or the version in the game? Well, either way there isn't really any section that's left out of this version.

lol, I'd forgotten about that one. Though going back and listening, it's a pretty conservative arrangement, and we'll have to expand it quite a bit. To be honest, I have a couple other ideas which I would prefer to work on when you have the time to start another collab. ... Well it looked like a cool idea to start with. Even moreso if you could bring your friend pixietricks to do some vocals. That being said, I'm often too ambitious with my projects so shoot any ideas you have as soon as the Tales project is released. You got it. How's that comming, anyway?

And any helpful tips you can provide on how I might go about learning to use it to its full potential would be nice -- Cubase looks a hell of a lot more complex than anything I've worked with thus far. Same goes for FL and Sonar.

haHA! Roe! You finally made it! I knew it was only a matter of time. This is quite awesome. Synth guitars work far better than they have any right to, nice synths, overall badass sound. The bass is especially cool. My only complaint is that all the sounds seem to have sort of the same edge, roughness, whatever you want to call it; it would've been nice to have a couple of smoother sounds somewhere in the middle to give my ears a break.
