As much as he was bashing this game, it actually sounds like it would be loads of fun to sit around thinking up things to ask for to see how the game will handle it.

I've still got my fingers crossed for this week. But I guess that would be the next best thing.

*shrug* bring whatever you feel like bringing. Seeing as how this meetup is going to consist of a bunch of twenty-something year old guys, I suspect that whatever food shows up will get eaten. Ok, I think I'm gonna start with the appalachian approach and see where it takes me. May end up throwing in some of the more irish stuff as well, if that's where it ends up going.

So I'm looking at two possible directions for Farewell Song, two different styles of folk ballad. I'll let Rozo make the call on which one I try first. My original plan was to make it a slow and moody appalachian ballad, modelled closely after Ashokan Farewell However, I've also been toying with the idea of making it a quicker, more irish-influenced ballad, something like

I had no idea you were in the area. Any chance people could crash at your place if there's not enough room in mine? It sounds like more people will be comming than I initially expected.

Don't worry, there will definitely be a couple of surprises in the final release which will be worth the wait. HOWEVER, a note to project members: PLEASE DO NOT RELEASE ANY MORE PROJECT TRACKS WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING ME OR WES.
