I don't actually need anything as formal as what Brad's describing, but generally I don't release videos of my kids publicly unless I have express consent from them and their parents. They gave me permission to send it to ziwtra, but not to post it publicly on the web, so I'm going to honor that. However, if you're comming to the NC meetup, I could show you the video there.

I had no idea you were in the area. Any chance people could crash at your place if there's not enough room in mine? It sounds like more people will be comming than I initially expected.

I have no idea what brad's original post was referring to, but my post was making fun of something he said at MAGfest a couple years ago; somebody handed him a nintendo DS, and brad, having never seen one before, said "Holy shit! It has two screens!"

Do you have a release date?

Don't worry, there will definitely be a couple of surprises in the final release which will be worth the wait. HOWEVER, a note to project members: PLEASE DO NOT RELEASE ANY MORE PROJECT TRACKS WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING ME OR WES.

Definitely some cool stuff here. The lead needs some delay/reverb, though. Also, if you can pull it off cleanly, you might try doubling the lead, with one panned right and one left.

Honestly, you could probably go to MAGfest without even making plans for a room and I'm willing to bet somebody would let you crash in their room. Besides, you don't go to MAGfest with the intention of sleeping.

I watched the first episode of this and absolutely loved it; laughed my ass off from start to finish. Then I watched the next couple episodes and thought they were dumb as shit, and stopped watching the series. As for FLCL, I've only seen a few episodes, but I cannot figure out why so many people love that show so much. Perhaps I just caught the wrong snippets of the wrong episodes.

If it looks like you're gonna get in early, call me, and I'll give you directions to the gym. You won't be able to do much other than just hang out and watch, but it's air-conditioned, has wi-fi, and you may get a chance to see some floor routines to OCR tracks.

Come to MAGfest! If you're in the area, I'll give you a ride. Luke: I work until 2:30-ish on saturday, so the meetup will have to start after that.

Are their any other Gundams besides SEED that are worth watching?

Gotta be a real cool dude to remix DKC2's mineshaft theme. I'll take a look. Piano seems a bit loud and dry; I'd drop the volume a bit and add a delay. Actually, everything seems too dry. Don't drench it in effects, but a touch of delay and/or reverb on a few of the synths could help a lot. The whole mix seems a bit treble-heavy. Back off a bit on the higher frequencies. Noticeable clipping on the pianos. I'm digging the percussion in the slower section, though it's a bit loud. Could afford to be spiced up a bit, but I like the samples. That snare has some real character. Biggest issue is definitely mastering; the whole thing is too loud and too treble-heavy. Second biggest issue is that the leads are too dry. Percussion could be brought down a bit, and could really use some more variation. Play around with velocities on it.
