Headed to Salt Lake City, Salt Lake City here I come.
Devyn replied to Harmony's topic in General Discussion
Salt Lake City is the town where I was 'conceived'. Never been there on my own two feet, but I've heard there's lots of Mormons. -
Please send 3 proofs of purchase and 3.99 for your NO, RESUBMIT keychain! Does anybody remember when the prizes were actually inside of the box and free?

Awww man I want to play Galaxy at DJP's house too. Anyway, I'm working towards 100 stars now. There are two levels that I would like to point out - one for being hard as hell and one for being scary as hell. The purple coin mission on Dreadnought galaxy - it took me about 15 tries to beat that stage. Also, Deep Dark Galaxy had eerie music, and I was expecting something to come out and eat me. Maybe you know what I'm talking about.

So, why are you on this site then? Do you ever look at the name of the site or the front page. It's about video game music, that's why people come here, to hear remixes of video game music/soundtracks. Music based on games, that we play with controllers, that often happen to be Super Nintendo controllers. Do you see a pattern here?

Swimming is still a bit difficult, it takes some time to get used to all of the shifting perspectives,it takes a lot of time out of your life, it eventually ends at some point. I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel looking for flaws, but it's near perfect. It's just that good.

Well, the Turtles CGI movie rocked.

I agree with him 50%. Seeing my girlfriend play co-star mode for Super Mario Galaxy and reading the instruction manual in the bed makes me think that Nintendo is on to something. As far as Smash Brothers Brawl goes - it's a hardcore game for hardcore people. Yet, if the interface is appealing to my gf and grandma, and they want to try, I'm all for it.

This could be either really good or really bad. I know that there will be a 360 version and there will likely be a PS3 version, but I'm hoping for a Wii version too. That Wii-mote would make for an excellent vacuum and proton gun, and that nunchuk would be ideal for tossing traps. I'm also thinking about lots of colorful monsters too. There could be some neat visuals for a Ghostbusters game, especially if you take inspiration from the cartoon. Also, the hype about this game already shows that Ghostbusters still have cultural relevance - this is a good thing. Edit: Just looked in the corner of the screenshot - It's coming to all consoles! Awesome! I will definitely at least rent this game, unless it gets shit reviews.

Calling this game a 'killer app' is an insult. Galaxy is the Chuck Norris of platform games.

Once you spin-attack an enemy, you can walk right into them and Mario will punch or kick the enemy. Not the same as Mario 64, but it's good to see Mario still has a violent side.

He kinda reminds me of this weird kid that lived in the dorms at my school. He had a Crown Victoria customized to look like a cop car. He had lights on it, a communicator, the antenna, the whole nine yards. It may have been a trooper car at one point. He also had 'police' badges on the windows of the car. The only thing holding him back was the license plate, which was a normal Alabama license plate. What a weirdo. He was a creepy little guy, pretending to be a cop.

The ultimate bedroom has a hot tub, a fridge that's always full of beer, and a plasma screen television above the bed, and I don't see any of those things. Edit: A crapload of video games is a good start, though.

True, but this time its orchestral, and it has Mario 3 music, which is awesome. WHERE'S SOME MARIO 2 LOVE???? Galaxy is awesome. I feel great grief for the people who don't own it.

Okay, Sky Town was a pain in the ass, but the controls weren't gimmicky at all. I must admit that I would rather have had an adventure on 1 or 2 planets as opposed to multiple planets and ships, simply because I like that Metroid-y feeling of being lost in the subterranean depths of a creepy planet. Anyway, MP3 is an excellent conclusion to the Prime series, despite its small flaws.

Maybe a possible RESUB? Nevermind, that was retarded. People, I apologize for this.

Will the cereal reject me if I try to eat it?

Mario hasn't fucking called me yet. I'm waiting.

The consumer won't allow them to. The consumer is too busy buying mediocre games with Spiderman and Madden on them. Even Nintendo keeps making different games but reusing the same characters. It's been like this for a long time. They have to play it safe, knowing that at least someone will buy the game. Huge budgets and time slots mean nothing if they can't turn a profit. That's what I think. Maybe someone else here will give you some kind of different explanation.

Who cares. I just want Gamestop to call me so I can pick that game up and make sweet love to it.

GH3 Dragon Force-Through the Fire and the Flames on Expert...
Devyn replied to Forizzle's topic in General Discussion
This is funny - My friend brought GH3 to my house Friday night. We played for about 3 hours - My friend actually made it through the level. The song gets old after hearing it about 4 times, but it's way better than the other difficult songs. -
I don't think he's a bot, but he's a spammer at the least. The reason why I don't think he's a spambot was because he posted a reply to the 'Famous people you've met' thread, and it was somewhat intelligible. Anyway, he may just be a really smart bot. Check his post history for details.

You shouldn't be complaining about stages. You can design a virtually infinite number of stages yourself.

Child's Play... my thoughts (please share yours)
Devyn replied to djpretzel's topic in General Discussion
I have to agree with you. Maybe you should consider a different charity, and have a banner and link to the charity. OCR members can donate, and you could have a board/system that keeps track of who donates and how much each forum member donates. Yet, we shouldn't donate just on the premise that vgmusic does it. That's just competition. If we do it, we should do it because we want to help people, and I don't mind donating money for that cause. -
Anyone know if there's an OC ReMix like place for Movie songs?
