Bomberman '93 and Battle Lode Runner, but with four wiimotes and a cube controller. It may work the other way around, though. I don't own either of those games because I already have Super Bomberman 2 on the SNES, which is really cool by the way.

You may have misinterpreted what I wrote, because I don't know what you're talking about. I just read the update, and I was like "whoa". I think that this whole update kicks ass. Seriously, you can't beat four control schemes. Anyway, I was hoping that this game would at least use the Wiimote, and I'm probably going to have to start with the Wiimote or Wiichuck combo. I'm thinking that the superior control scheme for pro players will be with the cube controller, but I'm a mediocre Smash Player, so I want to have fun. But this is still good news, because I only have two wiimotes, but I have about 4 cube controllers laying around, and so I'll be able to play 4 player without dishing out another $100.

Holy shit, we were all right about the control scheme. Wow.

I agree man, because I love surfing from the couch and looking at the big-ass tv (excellent for guitar tabs and music), and I'm getting the same problem. A lot of flash-based sites won't work, and I can't stream videos from lots of sites (like screwattack.com, which is one of my favorite sites)

I'm surprised that Stemage hasn't released a lot of his material on here. Also, 'Let The Wind Flow' is probably the best Ninja Gaiden 'remix' that I've heard, but I think Brain Cells left that one for VGmix's well-being. Some of Analoq's stuff (ahem.. 'I Beat The Game') and a lot of Disco Dan's stuff should be on here. There are also some really groovy Blaster Master remixes that I remember hearing a while back, but I can't remember who did them.

Zelda 2 is underrated. It's actually a very well-designed game. I like it a lot. Gaining levels is fun, and there's a lot of strategy involved with the usage of spells. I can already see a lot of people buying this one, dying 100 times, and putting down the game because of supposed flaws, when the real culprit is the extreme difficulty. And Milon's Secret Castle is hard as hell too. It would be a lot better if it had a password feature. Yet, the Wii sortof has 'save states', so it's not a big problem.

If anything from super mario bros. 2 is on there, then I will piss my pants with glee. But you know, Nintendo treats it like their bastard child. They kind of hold it in the closet like those kids on The People Under The Stairs or whatever it's called. Anyway, yeah, I'm with you. Yeah, I know they had subcon on the last Smash Brothers, which was rad - but they called it 'Mushroom Kingdom 2'. They also said that Birdo is a girl. We all know the truth.... Okay, this is a Smash thread, not a Mario 2 thread, so continue your discussion.

Yeah, that would be cool. Maybe if you hit them hard enough, they get stuck in the ground and you can boot 'em up battletoads style (if you know what I mean). Okay, nevermind.

I dislike (most) pop music because of its common redundancy and lack of originality, not because of its popularity. I also dislike music about people's asses, money, and cars. It's shallow. I don't give a crap about some pretty girl who I will never even talk to has 'taken control of her life' or some rapper 'who gets the hos and drives a ferrari', or some rock star who makes millions of dollars and pretends to 'be in darkness' Now there's some good stuff in pop music every once in a while, but it's usually some jerk or barbie doll praising his/herself. Also, there's too much focus on image. Many people are more concerned about the appearance of musicians rather than their abilities. This is bad for music because some of the best musicians are ugly, poor bastards who will never see the light on MTV, VH1, or whatever. And the production is often too crisp. It sounds a little synthetic. Hey. If pop floats your boat then fine, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that there's way too much syrup on the radio and the television. I won't ask you to forgive my elitist attitude - I've had it since I was 13 and it's not going to change. I'm going to wrap it up now: I think that there is a difference between 'pop' music and 'popular' music, so don't think I shun any record that hits gold.

Most of it sucks. It sounds fake and most of the people in it aren't really putting their heart in it. It often lacks originality, spontaniety, and it usually just sucks ass. Yes, I am too hip to hear another blonde bimbo sing a song I've heard 10,000 fucking times or another guy with a deep voice rip off Creed (who already sucked too) and sing about "pain" and "suffering". So every once in a while, there will be a good pop song (in the 80's, it happened all of the time), but now... No. Most of the songs on the pop radio borrow from four or five different chord progressions. Be annoyed. Pop music sucks ass.

I agree. It's time to move on. Maybe they should give Zelda a break for a while in general. But I would be sick if it were an MMO. By the way, does anyone think that Malo Mart (the one in Castle Town) is horribly disturbing? Seriously, they're all dancing and the music is annoying. I bought that one item and ran like hell.

You're the guy who made that Legacy of The Wizard medley on DoD right? Yeah, if so, then cheers. Well, I voted for you anyway.

Everything is a ripoff of something. Every thing.

I think I'm going to get a charge kit. I'm tired of buying batteries every two weeks. By the way, any Monkey Ball fans here (people who've played the earlier monkey ball games)? Is the 'new' one worth the dough?

The graphics look really good from what I've seen. Definitely a jump over the last Smash Brothers. But they will look truly good if it holds 60 fps. I like the background in the sky stage. Really pretty. I think that this game will have more of an 'epic' feel and less of a campy feel as compared to the last few Smash Brothers.
-
Or just stay and be a trolling asshole. That's what I do. I'm down with the most useless character or most useless item. Here's one: Underdog month. Has this been done yet?

You folks really do like to dream. If I see all of these non-Nintendo characters appear, then I'll laugh my ass off. Until then, I'll be laughing at you. I mean that in the nicest way possible. Streets of Rage? HAHAHAHHAHAH. Chrono? HAHAHAHAH FANBOY HAHAHA.

Time will tell.

Yeah, like 2,000 years ago. But that wiimote icon is still there on the official site.
-
There's a Wiimote icon by the 'How To Play' section - Maybe this things played with the Wiimote rather than the classic controller?

I remember when my Dad got me a subscription to Nintendo Power and it came with Dragon Warrior. It was great. I continued subscribing for about 7 years, then I got into playing guitar and all that jazz. But I still read my old NP's when I sit on the toilet. Much love to Nintendo Power. If you go, then you will be missed.

If this game doesn't have Wart as a playable character, then I am going to crawl into a corner and listen to My Chemical Romance.

Screw it. I don't have any of their albums, but they have my respect. At least they sound different from the hordes of crap on mainstream rock radio, and the singer can actually sing. And the lyrics have always been pretty good.
